I had a very comfortable stay in this hotel. The room was very comfortable and clean and the staff were very friendly. I had a lovely evening meal and a good breakfast. Silloth is a nice place, quiet yet with interesting things to see and do. The green has a beautiful flower garden which was delightful to walk through

I have to say the best fish and chips I've ever had, great portion size and a choc cake to die for...well done chef Staff very friendly, room great size. Could do with a bigger TV tho, as it was tiny.

We were a group of 2 grandparents, daughter and 2 grandchildren ages 3 and 6. We had a one night stay. On the outside it looks a bit tired but we understand that it is to be refurbished next year. Inside it was OK, friendly, efficient staff and comfortable rooms. Breakfast was satisfactory.

We stayed one night in July whilst cycling Coast to Coast. The staff were helpful and friendly and the bedroom was OK, but to be honest the hotel has seen better days. All very clean and presentable, but there seemed to be something loose on the roof of our top floor room, moving in the wind, and the decor was...

Me and my partner visited here during a holiday in Allonby. After walking about 8 miles up the coast with the dog we felt we had earned a pint. The barmaid was chatty and friendly, the pint was a good one and I was given water for the dog. Nice place I thought. We had a brief chat with a...

Ok the outside is not 5 star trimmings and maybe some might say not inside either but we found the room very clean and we also had a front room. window...

My son and I stayed at this hotel at the end of June. Everything was excellent. The new Manager Owen, is an absolute credit to the hotel and it is obvious that he is so proud to be there and he dedicated to making the hotel a success. I have to state at this point, that having visited the hotel...

This Hotel has seen its best days. The staff are friendly and helpful but this can not make up for the state of the hotel. Obviously it was a fine establishment in its day but sadly no more. Rooms on the 1st floor I understand are superior to those on the 2nd. but they are still dated. My room No....

Clean hotel, but the external decor ravaged by the sea air, but thats only to be expected. Staff very friendly and helpful, room massive for a single person, but everything very comfortable. Excellent breakfast in the morning. Will stay again

We booked the hotel to play golf on the nearby course, so wasn't looking for 5 star luxury. Yes, the hotel is 'tired' in places but I found it clean and friendly. We have rooms with excellent facilities which can be booked for business meetings or our Function Suite can be booked to hold a conference of up to 140 delegates. Set in the centre of the small coastal town of Silloth, noted for its invigorating but mild climate. It is well known for its peaceful laid back atmosphere or perhaps most of all, the beautiful Solway Coast Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB), famous for its stunning sunsets, abundant bird life and beautiful coastline walks. Just a short swing away is the highly acclaimed 18 hole championship link golf course at Silloth-on-Solway Golf Club. Silloth is an ideal location for a short break or a family holiday.
