We were picked up at the airport by a very friendly taxi driver who became our guide and transport for a couple of excursions across the island during our stay. We had booked a three-room apartment for nine nights. When we arrived we were given the choice of two different apartments, one with a sea view from the living room... More

Stayed a week in June - so it was mid winter. Arrived in a storm , there was a shipwreck on our first night which invoked a lot of local excitement. Spent that night in the family apartment which is very modern , nice but we wanted to be in closer contact with the sea. Moved to a Beryl apartment... More

We stayed at Blue Beryl's twice during our Indian Ocean tour. Jeremy is a very gracious, incredibly helpful host and his family is lovely. During our second stay (1 week) we booked an apartment. We had a veranda with a lovely sea view as well as our own kitchen. Everything was comfortable, immaculate and clean. The snorkelling straight off the... More

Blue Beryl is situated right on the beach surrounded by beautiful crystal clear turquoise water with good snorkling just 10 meters from the door. We stayed in the spacious studio with a nice balcony where we were served a nice breakfast every morning while enjoying the... More

My wife and I spent a wonderful nine nights at the Blue Beryl. We chose this guest house based on its location on a coral reef. The reef at Blue Bay is a national marine park and the best spot for off-shore snorkeling on the island. The reef is in good condition and the fish are abundant. Our room was... More
