Stayed there one night, just to get the morning boat to koh tao. It's less than a minute walk to the pier. I booked the fan bungalow. Didn't expect much luxury, but the bed mattress was completely worn down and can really hurt your back. It should have been replaced some years ago already. Also, the sink tap wasn't working... Very unprofessional approach to running this hotel. When first shown our room it looked nothing like the photos. It was very small and dirty. My pillow stank of old sweat. Very little to do in the surrounding area. There is a nice looking very quiet beach nearby but the water is filthy. Pool was quite nice however. Tried to book... More

I stayed here for one night in February with 2 friends while we waited for the ferry from Lomprayah the next morning. We arrived late at night and were shown to our room by a lovely, welcoming lady. The rooms are very basic. We had a family bungalow with a double and a single bed, air conditioning (VERY loud), bathroom... More

They've been around for 30years and it grows as times goes by. Sugar, the owner, is the second generation of the owner. You know they're very well connected with other travel agents/services on the island. Very nice pool especially when you just want to stay at the hotel. Ask them about anything for your trip and they'll have the answer... More

The grounds of the resort are quite pretty, and it seemed very quiet. We only saw two other guests during our stay and had the pool to ourselves. It is also very close to the Lomprayah pier and Maenam beach. However, the overall experience wasn't great. We were greeted by a lady who spoke no English and had to wait... More

We ended up staying here for 4 nights whilst travelling in June and it was extremely quiet, had the pool to ourselves most days and only saw one other couple at the hotel. Very short walk from the beach which is absolutely beautiful! The rooms are very very very basic, the first hut we were given was flooded so we... More

Lovely place in Mae Nam, so peaceful and serene. 1 minute walk to a long beach, good deep sea swimming. Pool is relaxing, we had it to ourselves all the time. Very quiet this time of year - exactly what we need before the full moon party though! Charming and picturesque, a little off the beaten track and perfect for... More

We stayed in phalarn inn only for two nights but it was an excellent relaxing time. The garden is beautiful, the rooms very nice and the staff most helpful and friendly. We wanted to stay away from the overcrowded beaches and hotels, so phalarn inn with its beautiful pool was the best we could get! Even after just two days... More

We needed a place to stay for 1 night before getting the ferry. We arrived at Phalarn in and were told that they had no budget rooms (500 THB) left, only the more expensive rooms for 1,400 THB. We declined and were walking away when they called us back and said they had 'found' a room for 900 THB. They... More
