We are a couple with a 1 year old baby and we stayed at the Radisson in July 2021. Unfortunately we had a bad stay at this hotel so much so that we checked out after 3 nights. On arrival at the hotel we went to our quarantine room in the quarantine block and started to settle in. The neighbours in the room next door were having a party, slamming their front door and running up and down the landing outside with a speaker box. We called the front desk as 1, we’re all supposed to be quarantining and 2, the noise was so loud that our baby couldn’t sleep but the lady on front desk didn’t seem interested. I asked if she could send someone over to our block and was told she’d try. The noise continued and the other guests were still charging up and down outside. I called back and was told by front desk that she couldn’t find security so nothing she could do….not ideal. Those guests left the next day and it was quiet after that. On the 2nd day we were released from quarantine. I went to have a shower and there was no hot water and the little bit of water that was coming out of the shower head was literally a dribble of cold water. Another call to front desk. I asked if they could get through to maintenance and let me know when someone was going to come and fix the shower but the lady seemed disgruntled that this needed a follow up call back to us. We did get that phone call back from front desk, under sufferance and was told there’s work being done on the boiler but no timeline of when it’d be fixed. We all had to get showed with that dribble of water as it was not fixed before we went to breakfast. Breakfast at the restaurant was lovely and the staff in there were great and very accommodating. Moving on, my husband went to front desk to find out where our new ‘non quarantine’ room would be and he was told there were no other rooms available and we were expected to stay in the quarantine room/block for the next 7 days even though we’d been released from quarantine. When he delivered this news to me I was livid. I got on the phone to the company we booked the hotel with and told them we needed to leave. The travel agent phoned the hotel to corroborate our story and got back to me to say we could leave so we did….straight away. At that point the travel agent couldn’t confirm whether we’d be refunded for the remaining 7 days as the hotel manager wasn’t there and she didn’t work weekends but we were so desperate to leave that we were prepared to take our chances. We checked out about 60 hours after checking in. There were people checking in as we were checking out, I just felt sorry for them as they were completely unaware of the bad stay they were about to have at the Radisson. All the other staff that we came into contact with (that delivered items to our room or at the one time we had breakfast at the restaurant) were really friendly and helpful but the front desk staff were just diabolical. Terrible, terrible customer service and not ideal to have as the ‘face of the company’. Miscellaneous For anyone needing quarantine food packages sent to a hotel we ordered through The Food Factory. The means were delicious and still hot on arrival and well packaged. Very reasonably priced. Their name on Insta is foodfactory473 and phone number is 1473 457 3663. You can see photos of the food and their menu on Insta. I highly recommend both cheesecakes lol. The food deliveries from The Food Factory were our only highlight of staying at this hotel. (They’re not affiliated with the Radisson and deliver food to all hotels as far as I know)

Thank you for taking the time to share your recent experience at our hotel . I know that your recent visit with us was not up to par. As you may know providing the highest level of hospitality is our number one priority and hearing we have fallen below that standard is something i assure you that I have personally addressed and corrective measures have already been taken. May I request you to treat this as an aberration, not reflective of our normal service standards and customer care. We appreciate you bringing this matter to our attention, and hope for another opportunity to exceed your expectations in the future.

I am suppose to be here a month working in the country but am so pissed off I could wait to leave before writing this. It all has to do with the damned WiFi air conditioning thermostat. It will do what ever it wants one minute your freezing the next your boiling. I looked it up online and apparently it has a motion sensor so if your sleeping it will turn off and you wake up several times a night hot as hell and have to go over to the thermostat to make it come on again. I guess they save energy at the expense of my good night sleep. Never stay here again until they do away with this system. Thermostat brand is Verdant absolute garbage. To be fair everything else was fine. All the staff were great the food was wonderful. Just couldn’t sleep well

As a born Grenadian living in NY, Radisson has been my go to stay when visiting my home country for the location, right on grand anse beach. My recent stay July 2021, I was disappointed by the level of service, lies and unprofessionalism shown by some of the resort staff. I am vaccinated and I chose this resort to quarantine because I was traveling with my 8yr daughter. This is our 3rd time staying at Radisson. I called the hotel prior to booking to inquire about the quarantine experience. I was told I would have access to a pool but not the beach because it was public. When I arrived I was told we can't go to the pool.So they LIED! I would've never booked if I knew we wouldn't have access to the pool. My initial reservation was for an ocean view room, I was denied a room change because none was available. Another LIE! At one point, my room phone was not working, couldn't call the front desk, couldn't make local calls, I couldn't even get room service. I felt like a prisoner. Safety protocols was not being followed as stated on their website. Workers were not fully wearing their masks, house keeping was not wearing gloves AND they weren't following the 24hrs vacancy between guests. Remember I was quarantine for 7 days because of my daughter (am fully vaccinated but that was Grenada policy at the time) so I witness all of this. There was no distinction between quarantine guests and regular guest so a lot of people who were suppose to be quarantine left went on the beach and/or pool. Literally NO ONE checked to see if we were actually in our rooms. The food selection we was given was lacking and was delivered in containers with old newspaper on the bottom. Not worth the money. I was not given the option for all inclusive upgrade, so I had to pay for every meal including breakfast (another LIE because I was told breakfast was included). My last straw was when I asked to speak with a manager because I was unsatisfied with my experience and I was given the run around. The hotel did not give us our results to leave quarantine so I finally went to front desk to ask why? I was belittled by the manager samantha (or whatever her name is) telling me I should not be out of my room, I WILL BE fined (her exact words). She is very disrespectful and unprofessional. She came out only after I demanded to speak to someone (she was hiding in the back office). I asked to speak to the general manager but coincidentally he was unavailable (but actually in the back office too ). Our results came in but because our room phone was not working they never bothering to tell us. I immediately cancel my 2nd reservation because I extended my trip and booked at another hotel. I paid my money to stay at the Radisson for management to tell me I will be fined!! I spent 1 week in this establishment with the same bath towels, 2 rolls of toilet paper, 2 bottles of water, no working phone, barely working wifi, and many other issues, for this woman to threaten ME with a $5000US fine! They had me and my daughter results and failed to give it to us because they didn't have an equivalent room to put us. NOT MY PROBLEM. So we was put in a smaller room and now they giving me hell for a refund on the room fare difference. Unfortunately, I will NEVER return to the Radisson. The service there has taken a terrible turn for the worst and if they do not fix it they will lose a lot of business. So many guests were complaining and management cared less to try to fix the problem. My worst hotel experience ever!

As a frequent visitor of Radisson and a patriotic Grenadian citizen, I am highly disappointed by with the lack luster service or should I say lack there of service, that I received during my recent visit. On July 20, 2021 myself, my sister, and my dear friend, who is a also a first time visitor to the island and this hotel chain, decided to spend our last day at the Radisson. Upon entry, we weren't greeted but made our way to the bar to ask about having lunch and using the pool. Instead of receiving any relevant information about sed services, I was repeatedly asked my room number. I informed this hotel representative that I was not a rooming guest numerous times and that this never inhibited me from being serviced in the past. After waiting for 10 minutes to receive updated information, we decided to continue waiting while sitting by the pool perimeter. We noticed that same individual stopped in the middle of the restaurant, made a gesture and then walked over to where we were. I asked if we could remain sitting where we were even though we were not in the pool and the entire area was empty. She provided no response and proceeded to walk away. In the past I never needed the service of rooming on the compound but I have utilized and enjoyed the amenities of the hotel. The server looked disgruntled so I asked if there was an issue with us sitting here for lunch and she replied "I told you already you can’t use the pool". I informed her that we were not using the pool but simply using the chairs available near the pool with tables for dining. She explained that that was not allowed and began walking away. Before she could leave I asked when these changes were made, but my question was completely ignored. In my inquiry the worker tried to allude from the situation at hand and began to make references about the "locals". I brought her attention back to the matter and she stated that her actions were a result of her "honestly not knowing that day passes were a thing" and that " it wasn't communicated clearly to her as long as she's been working here." Even though under Radisson Grenada’s reviews there were individuals that referenced your day passes. There is no justification for how we were handled for the duration of our visit but I honestly do not feel the need to make any future visits or recommendations to this establishment.

Dear Scholar, I am sorry to hear that your recent visit was less than satisfactory. Kindly note that this is not the kind of service that we give to any of our guests, and I assure you that we will address your concerns and ensure that a similar situation does not happen in the future. Also, note that day pass is not a regular service we offer, and this has been in effect for over three years however, everyone is welcome to dine and patronize at our restaurants and bars at any time. Please feel free to contact me should you decide to visit again or further discuss your experience.
