Yves, the owner, very kindly let me visit the gardens and use the pool, several times, during my last activity visit to Taroudant. The garden and architecture of the buildings are beautiful and I could sit and draw, sipping mint tea, all day long. Yves is very knowledgeable about Morocco and can arrange any excursion that you want to make,...

We stayed for 5 days in the hotel and were well lodged and enjoyed the pool all for ourselves. The rooms are ok, the best is the pool in hot weather and the very good local authentic maroccon food served in the evening, since there are not a lot of good restaurants in Taroudant itself.

Just a few metres from the main square which is great for coffee and people watching. Friendly, unusually spacious Riad with a pool, comfortable rooms and dinner available if one pre-books. We would have liked another night so we could spend more time in the town

Beautiful authentic Moroccan architecture using traditional methods with a great pool with very clean water, which only looks green in the photos because green tadelak was used. There are no turtles! It's tortoises that you will see racing (I kid you not) around the raised garden in hot pursuit of each other. You will be served an ample French style...

We, family with 2 kids, spent three wonderful days at Riad Dar Dzahra. Yves and his team were great, very kind and helpful. Yves knows where to buy things and knows who is reliable with forwarding goods. Furthermore the breakfast was very good and also dinner. They also took care of the kids well. The location of this Riad is...

If you're looking for the authentic Berber Moroccan experience, then Taroudant's your place. And there's no better host than Yves, who runs and designed Riad Dar Dzahra. It's just off the main town square so it's ideally situated. It's a peaceful oasis amidst the usual hustle and bustle and the green pool is perfect when you need to cool down...

Yves is certainly eclectic if not eccentric! He runs the Riad with a great staff of locals and has friends all over town. We had to get help finding the Riad (not a surprise) but found the municipal parking area nearby to be secure, safe and cheap, and the short walk to the Riad via a few babushka stores was...

We have stayed in Taroudant before, but not in this Riad. Yves the owner has only been open for a couple of years, but his is, in our opinion, the best place in town. The rooms are all different and all lovely. The bathrooms are good with great showers. The overall environment is calm and peaceful after the bustle of...
