We stayed here with a group in 2 double rooms and a single. All rooms were modern and recently renovated - decorated tastefully with many beautiful art pieces and wooden bowls. The beds and bathrooms the best we had on our trip. The bathroom had a rain-shower. All rooms had a balcony, one had a private courtyard. Prepare to be...

I travel a lot, been all over the world, in all kinds of hotels. I can honestly say Hotel Weingut Meintzinger got it all right and is one of the best hotels I have ever been. Beautiful building; two minutes walk from the small but lovely village; plenty of parking spaces; modern decorated, spacious room with a nice balcony, overlooking...

We stayed here for one night on our road-trip. Hotel is stunning, however not very accessible with stroller due to many stairs. You can enjoy local wines and the breakfast is outstanding!!! Rooms are beautiful and spacious. Local restaurants mainly take cash as the only payment method. Surrounded by vineyards.

Our July 2013 journey along the Romantic Drive (Romantische Straße) took us to Frickenhausen, a small town about 40 kms south of Stuttgart. It was our first stop for lodging in Germany after a lot of driving so we hoped for a good rest in a relaxing environment - we were not disappointed. The pros: - Clean environment, the balcony...

We loved the breakfast which had an assortment of juices, cheeses, meat, cornflakes, fresh fruit, eggs, large selection of thee, yoghurt, ... There was a fridge available with...

We had a one-night stay in a spacious two-level room, with access to an attractive shared terrace; and breakfast was excellent. But the website focuses on the new 'design' element to the hotel, which was lacking in our rather 80s- styled room. And I sensed the staff at reception were more interested in their wine-tasting customers than their hotel guests....

We were looking for a nice room for the night close to the Wertheim Village outlets, and happened to chance upon Hotel Weingut Meintzinger on the internet. We never regretted this decision and would gladly stay there again if visiting the same area. The hotel is situated in the charming and peaceful little town of Frickenhausen about 39 minutes’ drive...

The hotel is located in a very lovely old town and the rooms are clean, very spacious and well-decorated. The nice large fluffy towels made a nice change from the usual hotel-standard sanding paper napkin. The breakfast was very nice and more than elaborate. It may not be everyone’s cup of tea but they even had meatballs, spring rolls and...

“Choose a room on a low floor so you do not need to walk up so many stairs. From memory I don't think there were any rooms on the ground floor. If you are travelling in a cold month, ask how to work the heater in the room (never seen anything like it), we didn't ask as it was summer.”
