Stayed here recently for three nights and we have stayed here before. The people are as friendly and pleasant as ever and the general ambience is still lovely. The food was OK. However, the renovations which are now badly in need of doing, especially the roof really do need to be finished. Our room, although clean, was very damp indeed with...

Converted to a hotel. We found it clean and quirky. Our room had the attached bath on the 3rd floor. It had low ceilings, but a nice view. It was warm in the room and we couldn't adjust, also bed was too soft and springy for us. The bar was cool, and dinner excellent! Breakfast which was included also good....

My Husband booked a two night stay in this charming friendly country hotel for us both and our two teenage children. On arrival, we were shown to the Winter room which was an upgrade to the one we had booked, we were pleasantly surprised to realise that this was a large comfortable two bed roomed space that was more like...

Whenever we stay in Kilmartin Glen we always have a meal at the Kilmartin Hotel. In the past everything has been fine and we have never had any complaints. However on our last visit, that sadly all changed. We arrived ordered drinks and opted to sit in the bar until our order was taken and our table was ready. We...

This time the circumstances of our visit to Argyll meant that we stayed in Kilmartin for two nights instead of the usual overnight stop. That made it twice as good. The proprietor and his staff were as welcoming and friendly as ever and our room was warm, spotless and very comfortable. They are clearly establishing a reputation for their food...

Spent one great night at the Hotel and we had the 'Summer' bedroom with amazing views over the Church and beyond. The Room was warm and cosy, just what we needed on a cold March night. We had some drinks in the bar before dinner which was very relaxing, we ordered dinner and they came and took us through to...
