Nice-ish, clean, wholesome. But disappointing especially in retrospect because we stayed in much better places later on. The food was so-so, the rooms just about passable. Our guide Jobi was friendly and keen to help with information but he's clearly a bit of a novice.

We've been in the Zebra River Lodge for two nights. We've been welcomed friendly with a nice drink and the staff helped us with the bags. The rooms are looking good. Comfortable beds and a mosquito net were available. Unfortunately there was no air condition so that it was very hot in the bedroom. Sleeping was almost impossible... The bathroom...

The Zebra River Lodge was a great stop for one night after visiting Sossusvlei. It is very calm and offers walking opportunities. Despite the heat and thanks to the breeze, we enjoyed a nice walk before going on a sunset tour (accompanied with wine and biltong) with the friendly manager of the place, Philip. We have learned a lot from...

After our first day of self drive driving on the gravel roads with the long final leg along the access road ( love the signage along the way) it was lovely to reach Zebra River Lodge & be welcomed with a refreshing drink. The style of the lodge is relaxed yet efficient service. The individual lodges are fabulous scattered up...

An oasis between two canyons. The road from Sossusvlei is kind of terrible but totally worth it in the end. We stayed in chalet 6 and had a very nice view over the garden and to the waterhole. Clean chalet, comfy bed, large windows. No wifi in chalet but in the main building. No cell phone coverage. Didn't miss it...

We stayed for 2 nights on our Honeymoon in room 9 which is the highest in the venue with amazing views. The stonework in the building was beautiful and rustic. A very relaxing place to stay with amazing views at sunrise and sunset. Breakfast and dinner were excellent and the staff were very friendly. We went on one of the...

A lovely scenic place nestled into the rock side. Beautiful evening walks in the canyon landscape, just be sure to take adorable Shadow the dog with you. With luck you'll spot baboons, antelope, various birds and even zebra at the lodge at night. Dinner was great, 3 courses served outside on the veranda. One of the greatest features of river...

I stayed one night on the 29th of august 2016. Beautiful location surrounded by Namibian bush and savana. I apreciated the Bushmen exibition and the four wheel tour around the lodge to spot some animal.

Spacious, well-fitted bedroom, delicious food and relaxed ambience. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Considerable amount of wildlife and interesting walks from lodge. You can go on local drives but we preferred shanks pony. Great sundowner walk on hills behind lodge.

Lovely relaxed hotel virtually in the middle of nowhere.Friendly staff and beautiful accommodation in the form of chalets at different levels on the hillside. Good food and wine list. As dog lovers we were absolutely thrilled with 'Shadow' the resident pet who just loved to interact and play with us.
