We arrived at Octopus after spending a week at Blue Lagoon. May I say that the week we spent at Octopus was just as enjoyable as the first time my family and I stayed twelve months ago. Hats of to the live in managers, Joanne and Peter who I rate as having great people skills, always making time to speak...

Two or so hours by ferry from the mainland and you will find the perfect tropical beach haven. All the previous reviews are spot on. Octopus Resort is the complete package. Delicious island food, sunsets you dream of, crystal clear waters, a dazzling coral kingdom a few steps away from the soft sandy beach, plenty of space to drift and...

Being the sort of person who likes active holidays and easily gets cabin fever I was a bit nervous about spending 7 days at this resort. I couldn't have been more wrong. So much to do and options for everybody. We all loved the location on a remote island with friendly staff. We snorkelled, scuba dived (the kids did the...

I stayed at Octopus Resort after spending a few weeks travelling around Fiji. I liked this place the most out of those that I stayed in during my travels, despite the fact that I was only able to book a dorm room because the rooms required a 4 night minimum stay and I had only 2 nights. The staff were...

4 years since the first time I set foot onto the pristine sands of Waya and it makes me very happy to say that very little has changed since my first review. Octopus is still my island paradise and has that lovely, intimate feel to it. The staff greet you like family they haven't seen for a long time..and considering the...

I stayed here with a friend at the end of our quick round the world trip. We were given a lovely "bula" welcome by everyone streaming out on the the beach to welcome us from the ferry. It looked like heaven! We upgraded to a bura with a double, and single bed. It was so typically Fijian, well furnished with...

We found Octopus Resort by googling 'beachfront bure fiji islands'. Octopus Resort was at the top of the page, so we explored the website and watched the video on the home page and we were immediately hooked. From arrival to departure, nothing disappointed us, completely ticked all of our boxes. Kids had an absolutely fantastic holiday and made so many...

We stayed at this resort in 2009 and it was perfect. The location is paradise, the beautiful beach, the beautiful water and green hills as a backdrop. 2 hours after arriving, we contacted the hotel on the mainland that we had booked to cancel our reservation, this place was perfect. The room was lovely and always amazingly clean. We used...

I recently spent 3 nights at the Octopus Resort doing my PADI open water dive course - the PERFECT place to do this course. So many fantastic dive sites, so close to the resort. The resort itself was great and I have every intention of going back but there are a couple of small drawbacks that visitors should be aware...
