Stayed at the Blue Haven Hotel with my husband for one week and loved it! Beautiful views from our room and the terrace bar. Request room #30 if available because of the amazing view that we had. We also recommend going for cocktails to the terrace bar during sunset time. It was

Came to the Blue Haven Hotel for the Carnival Cool Down Special and it was a real relaxation mini vacation. We had dinner on the terrace, which overlooked the entire island... what a nice view and the food was great too. First time at the Blue Haven and we will definitely be

Magical! My husband and I came to the Blue Haven for a Caribbean island getaway. We loved the hotel and the island. We were given such VIP treatment, it was a very exclusive stay. We had dinner on the terrace underneath the stars every evening and it was magical. Also, to

The staff at the hotel was excellent and extremely friendly. Our flight arrived early in the morning and we were allowed to check in. The hotel is located on a private cove with direct beach access. The property is slightly dated and could use some minor improvements. Internet

What a lovely gem on the island. We enjoyed our stay at the Blue Haven Hotel. We spent most of our time at the pool that over looked the ocean. The staff was extremely friendly and anything that we needed was provided to us by the hotel. The front desk booked all of our

Do men have to wear trousers in the evening in the restaurant. Or are smart shorts acceptable.
Yes you can swim in the sea but when we were there the sea was rough and the beaches were mucky, however they had some storms before we arrived. Food is poor and really not worth the money. Everything is run down and worn out. My advice would be to go to the Coco Reef which is much better. We moved away from Blue Haven as quick as we could. You can walk into Scarborough but it is a narrow main road with very deep ditches and no lighting at night. There is not much to do in Scarborough itself either. If you want to walk go north into the hills where it is lovely. Lots of jungle or woodland walks and guides to provide boots and advice. The west side of the island has by far the better beaches and the seas are less rough. Hope that helps.

Thank you for your question. We at the Blue Haven Hotel strive to give guest options no matter what meal Package they have booked. As such our breakfast is a buffet which changes every day keeping in mind popular breakfast food. Our Lunch menu and dinner menu are A La Carte. Dinner menu is changed daily however if you have a special request or dietary needs we are happy to meet your requirements for any meal.

Is there snorkelling off the beach?
No. You can access the beach from the hotel but the currents are strong as it’s a small bay so the water was very milky unless you go out really far.

Yes, the Hotel does do weddings - and they can be spectacular. I was there a couple of years ago when the Hotel put on a lovely Wedding followed by an absolutely stunning Reception afterwards on the Terrace. It was a fantastic occasion. If I were getting married that would do me very nicely!
