First let me say that the staff at Blue Haven was awesome! The kitchen staff, bar staff, maintenance staff and reception staff. The supervisor however NEEDS to change her very unfriendly and nasty attitude. She was rude and not very accommodating when we told her about issues we had while at the hotel! As far as issues go.....many arised. My mum and...

Side-trip to Tobago with my 4 year old to Tobago, and decided to stay at this hotel. After viewing the site, I said "yes, looks great." Driving onto the property, simply glorious. Large, mature trees, beautiful flora and fauna. Welcoming reception, kind, friendly staff. Upon entering the room---total LET DOWN! Wood floring that needs a definite polish and cleaning, moldy...

This is my first trip advisor review. I decided to write this review because of the great time we had at the Blue Haven. Have given this hotel 5 stars because its average needs to be much higher (probably really deserves 4 1/2 stars). My wife and I had a great time here in April. Yes, I agree with some...

Stayed here in February and it was one of the hotels we stayed at over a two week period. It was definitely the best as the location and beach are wonderful. The grounds are beautiful and the restaurant terrific. It's walking distance to Scarborough. All of the staff were friendly, welcoming and helpful. Next trip we'll definitely stay at the...

We stayed for a week at the Blue Haven and experienced excellent service, good food and very friendly staff. The charm of the Blue Haven is the excellent location overlooking Baccolet Bay on the Atlantic side of Tobago. We enjoyed swimming in the sea in varied conditions from flat calm to rolling breakers. Contrary to some reviews and reports, the...

We chose the Blue Haven Hotel for our wedding venue and were extremely pleased with the results. While the hotel rooms are showing a bit of age, the overall experience was fantastic, with an extremely helpful staff that went out of their way to accommodate us and our ceremony, acceptable food options if you don't want to go out into...

Blue Haven hotel is a gorgeous little hotel on a cliff with a path that goes down to the most beautiful beach in the world. Some aspects of the hotel seem a little run down but the friendliness of the staff and the beauty of Tobago more than make up for this. The owner of the hotel Karl is very...

Blue Haven is in a beautful location. The sunsets are amazing. This is a quiet hotel in a quiet part of Tobago but is only 20-25 minutes walk from the capital, Scarborough. Our room was good, although the wardrobe area and bathroom were a little "tired" but spotlessly clean. The staff were fantastic, so friendly and helpful. However if you...

Blue Haven must have the best location on the island, fabulous outlook, quiet beach complete with friendly staff. Hotel staff unfailingly helpful if sometimes unable to solve technical problems like blown light bulbs and finding a key to the room safe. Rooms, plural because ours was changed without fuss when the aircon failed, were otherwise excellent and had all had...

Wonderful location, lovely people, hotel fantastic, but... Alison and my self got married at the Hotel through Thompsons 'signatures'. Thompsons (UK) said we could not get married on the beach which is what we wanted. Beulah John the Deputy Manager of Blue Haven sorted everything and we did just that, got married on the beach, Judith (Thompsons rep) and Beulah...
