Blue haven hotel truly is the lost world of the Caribbean. The resort sits on an incredible peninsula, every room has beautiful ocean views. The wall from the shower is made of glass, so you can see the sea, even from your bathroom. Friendly staff, & great food served in the plantation house restaurant. & the roti's at the No...

Hello from Blue Haven Hotel! WOW I am happy that you enjoyed your stay. The View is spectacular hence why we have tried to take ever opportunity not to let any guest miss it, so the oversize glass from the bathroom ensures you never miss a wave. Thank you for the wonderful comments about our staff and food, and it...

Great staff, housekeeper passes by daily to change out towels etc...clean room and bathroom, tranquil location away from all the hustle and bustle, yet 10 mins away from Scarborough by taxi where shopping could be done. Beautiful ocean view from rooms and balcony, therefore you're able to see the boats arriving and departing the island while relaxing in bed. Access...

We stayed one day and night and felt like the old Hollywood stars. There is a fantastic beach and pool area and the staff is very nice. As it was not high season, we kind of had the hotel for ourselfes. We had a fantastic time there!!!

We stayed on the 2nd floor of the hotel and the ocean view was heavenly. It was a sight to see. It was so pleasing that I didn't go out of the hotel. There is a beach bar as and private access to the beach. Your lunch can be ordered at the beach bar while enjoying the water.

If you are thinking of going to this hotel and are a little bit put off by some of the negative comments, don't be. The positives far outweigh the negatives. OK, so it is a little bit threadbare in places but look past that and you will find an hotel in a stunning location. The room we had was in...

The hotel is a little tired and in need of some TLC. But the staff are friendly and competent. Bathroom spotlessly clean, Our room was on the first floor and overlooked the beach: with the window open we could hear the waves breaking on Bacolet Bay. There is not a lot to do and you need a car/taxi/bicycle to get...

Staying here as part of a tour group ......in fact I am sitting here in the restaurant now, having just eaten a gorgeous dinner , traditional Tobago soup and swordfish with a tamarind sauce .....a root vegetable called ..cassava...which is lovely. There was a brilliant singer here tonight, she sang traditional music and had her audience dancing..... Great !! The...

The Blue haven Hotel is in Buccalet Bay evidently the setting for Robinson Crusoe. The bay is small but idyllic with a rustic bar and snack restaurant. The gardens are lush with tropical vegetation. Rooms face the sea with a balcony ideal for watching the cruise liners coming in to Scarborough. Breakfast is buffet style but dinner is served. Staff...

I have pondered long and hard on this review, wanting to give travellers a true picture of the hotel, but also wanting to say just how much we loved it! As someone else has said, "ignore the fading decor"! The hotel is amazing, big in size, but only 55 rooms, the staff are fantastic - more details in a bit,...

If you are seeking a wonderful beach retreat with staff who cannot do more to help then you will certainly enjoy your visit! You must ignore the fading decor and enjoy the superb location, imagine it in its heyday and simply relax!
