We wanted peace, quiet and relaxation and that's what we got. We wanted to be left alone and we were. If we wanted anything we only had to ask. The rooms are very basic but were clean. The shower is solar so takes a while to warm but that's solar! If you want to ruin the environment go somewhere else.... More

This hotel is dated and tired and sadly hints that it has had better days (probably its heyday was in the 1970s). It's now rundown and everything is on a tight budget. The selection of food was poor. The outdoor space around the pool wasn't a nice place to spend a lot of time and the pool didn't look clean.... More

Arrived at Eden Rock at approx 0100 hrs following on from the flight to Heraklion, greeted by the owner Andreas and offered refreshment and welcomed. We were somewhat concerned about the reviews and thought we had made a mistake but quickly found this not to be the case. The rooms are compact and very clean, with daily cleaning and a... More

The room was very basic, fridge and safe were extra charge. Shower wasn't hooked on the wall?? So has to hold the shower head to wash. First room had a lovely view, but our second room overlooked the car park and was meant to be mountain view. Room wasn't cleaned whilst we were there, we had the same towels all... More

We stayed here as a family of 4 with teenagers in August. The hotel is run down filthy and in such a state of disrepair, that myself and my family were shocked. There was once an outside snack bar, tennis courts, sauna, children's playroom, sauna, disco, massage chairs etc. All have been left to just rot and are no longer... More

Sorry to have to write this review..... Sorry to the staff who work hard in the bar and restaurant, it would be one star if not for them. I am disappointed to the max with this hotel, and I believed those guests who previously had given this a good rating - which is why we chose this hotel. The hotel... More

I strongly recommend this hotel to everyone who's looking for a place to REST. Me and my sister spent there one amazing week and we'd like to go there again. To make it short and simple: + perfect food - greek salad every day, various meat kinds, fresh vegetables, watermelon, sweet grapes and awesome wine and beer + clean, neat... More

We are a respectable family of 5 (ages from 16 - 48) who wanted to experience exactly what this hotel was described to be & what it was to provide. Unfortunately we received the total opposite. This hotel is no more a 4* than I am a brain surgeon. If you like the smell of sewage in your room (every... More

We just came back from a 10 night stay at the smaller Eden beach apartments, which are about 2.5 km from the bigger hotel complex. In all honesty, the apartments were quite neglected and very basic and cramped, with poor facilities, but we kind of forgot all about that as the location was perfect and the beach extremely quiet and... This is a great family hotel, plenty to keep kids busy. The rooms are a good size and very clean. Our room was cleaned every day. Staff at hotel are really friendly and helpful. This is definitely a very traditional hotel, nice and quiet, no loud music keeping you up all hours. The beach can be accessed by a 10... More
