What you're getting here is an amazingly tranquil, boutique property with beautiful rooms and even better views. No, there isn't room service, and the service is light, but that's not what this place is about. It's a place to experience the beauty of Martinique and...More
We just returned from our first trip to Martinique. Having visited many islands in the Caribbean, this island seemed to have a much better developed middle class, a thriving agricultural industry and a beautiful well maintained landscape. Imagine remote beaches where trash has been cleaned...More

When we booked, I thought my husband would be with me the entire vacation, but as it turns out, I will be on my own there for three or four days. That's fine. I don't mind being on my own, but I won't have a car when he's not with me! I see ocean in the pictures. Can I get there on foot? Is there any place at all I can walk to from the hotel? Or will it be me and my books, and, with any luck, a glass or two of wine?

It will be you and your books and wine... sorry. There is not much around to go and see or do. We really needed our rental car to go out and explore.
