We spent three nights here, and loved the place. Despite the very hot temperatures, the lodge's location on a ridge always seems to capture an afternoon breeze. The dining area is perched on a covered deck with lovely sunset views. The food is ample, fresh, and tasty. Several bird feeders close by are kept well stocked, drawing in lots of...

This is the best place to have a nice and quiet experience 100% recommended. And the manager Mr. Federico Ferraro is a very polite and helpful person. The rooms are just a lovely place to stay so clean and neat. Awesome location and great prices

Breakfast includes yoghurt but is not lavish. You can watch the bird food tables from the restaurant. Lodging is in separate houses in the area. Some have large trees near that drop...

There were great things about this place, and there were not-so-great things. I would definitely stay at this place again if I could get back to the area, even though there were some downsides to the place. The food was excellent. The staff were pleasant -- although it was the most difficult to communicate here in English than any other...

Around twice a day Scarlet Macaws fly into feed at the pol side feeding...

We stayed at Cerro Lodge for 2 nights at the start of our trip to Costa Rica. The grounds are well kept, pretty and attracted lots of birds. We had a bungalow which was quite spacious with a double and 2 single beds. There was a little hanging space for clothes. The air conditioning worked very well and we kept...
