We took a travel kettle and our own tea bags, but there is a hairdryer in the bathroom. Our travel adaptor was not compatible with the plug outlets in the room which seemed very strange as we have used them everywhere in Europe, but I believe that several guests were provided with a compatible adaptor at reception.
A previous comment stated that you could not charge items to your room and pay via credit or debit card; this seems to be normal procedure in many places in Switzerland - the black economy would appear to be alive and well in this country!
