HORRIBLE food!! Ended up going out for dinner cause it’s really not possible to find anything edable. Annoying and rude people stealing up to 10(!) croissants for breakfast , and that’s the only thing you can eat. The softdrinks and awful. The beer works!! I could hear the neigbour blow his nose and go to the toilet. The shower head could’nt hang. As you see from the photos; unfinished stairs, cats poo in the pool area. I found hearing aids in the drawer and pills under our bed. Mole in the juice dispenser! No elevator in the hotel, you need to carry your luggage up all the stairs. The hotel provides pool/beach towels but you need to pay 50 kunas each!

Hoping for a first post covid get-away - fulfilled thanks to relaxing friendly staff especially Elias & his team at Coralia. A super week away & enough to do in between enjoying the sea and sun - both of which were top!

I imagine this hotel was very grand in it’s day but is now very tired. It has its own dock with steps down to the sea. The sea is beautifully clear and you can see to the floor. The hotel has 140 rooms and the week we were there there was 4 English rooms, the food is obviously made for the majority as we (personally) and the other English we spoke to found the food horrendous, cold, at best luke warm, sometimes not even sure what the hell it was, thus most of the English ate out lunch and dinner. Saying that the other guests seemed very happy with there meals. Our room 003 had marks on the carpet and the furniture and a hole kicked in the door. The bed was clean and comfortable, towels were not changed all week. Sheets were changed every other day. Air con worked but not very well. The pool was clean and lots of sun beds available. We saw no kids club or salon going on, and entertainment was a guy and a girl playing music off a laptop and dancing together for a few minutes each day, and all of Saturday night. It’s a very peaceful place, you could relax well and enjoy the quiet, but to get to anywhere you need the taxi boat or a fair walk to Trogir. Recommend Goldys for food and Mikkis in Trogir!!

Stayed half board 11 nights from 13th aug block 3 (304) ground floor facing the sea 30 yards away. Room adequate with air conditioning included which was useful as v hot at times.Hotel coping well with virus had to queue to get food at meal times so tried to go when less people about. Food good, could go up several times so plenty to eat. Restaurant staff doing good job under circumstances, they wore masks but for the customers it was optional inside. Reception staff all spoke good english and helpful, younger restaurant staff could speak good english. Maids friendly, efficient but we didnt need them everyday although they would have come. Entertainment limited to one father/son? duo playing local music once a week. Didnt use the pool but looked nice and well used by families. Went in sea every day some areas where rocks it was slippy so went in from hotel platform which had 3 sets of steps into the sea - no sandy beach here and large roped off area for bathers. Main town Trogir can get to on water taxi for 20 kuna (£2.50) single one way. Takes 20 mins from beach 50 yards from hotel and go right to the old town where the posh boats moor. Or can walk part the way into Trogir along the beach apart from the last bit where have to go in land and walk along the main road takes about 40 mins to get to Trogir market with the rest of the old town a little further. Between the hotel and sea is a promenade - left to seget village/marina then Trogir, or right to Medina beach 25 mins.

We went here in high season. The hotel is a little old, but you don't pay that much and for the price you pay the rooms are decent. Not perfect, one of the lamps in our room wasn't working and the curtains couldn't open all the way, but the cleaning ladies did a good job and it was clean with a nice view over the sea. The breakfast was alright, some days better than others. We always were there very early and there were lots of options. Having dinner gave us a whole other experience: everyone was there at 19:00 to be the first and we felt like prisoners in line for their food. The food was alright (this also varied from day to day), but this experience was terrible. There were a lot of people taking a lot of food all at once and throwing half of it away, but obviously the hotel couldn't really do anything about this. The Italian beach-restaurant is very good and I would recommend eating there as well one day. Regarding the location, for us (couple, early-twenties) there wasn't much to do. You could take the water taxi to Trogir, but this city is very small and around the hotel wasn't much to see. To relax for a bit this place is very good, but don't expect too much possibilities to hike or see more of Croatie than the coast (except for when you rent a car, which we didn't).

Just back from 2 weeks stay at the Hotel Jadran in Seget Donji... or, as my partner who couldn’t pronounce it called it... leggy donkey - hence the title! We found the hotel to be of a fairly good standard if you don’t require too much in the way of entertainment or facilities (especially in the low season). All rooms are sea facing and we had paid a very small supplement for a high floor room - but my tip would be to not do this, as the lower floors actually have a better view through the trees - although you do get a private screened off balcony on the top floor - rather than the wide terrace running along the lower floors, which were a bit more open, and anyone straying from their part of it could possibly see into your room (see hotel photos). Unlike a previous reviewer, we found the food to be of a good standard. The salads we had were excellent, and always had 'extras' to choose from i.e. cold meats, 2 or 3 different cheeses and always little individual pots of a mixed salad of some sort such as tuna, Greek or barley salad etc. There was always a standard cut of meat such as beef or pork, a fish dish, pasta, and usually something a bit more 'adventurous' such as black squid ink risotto that is 'traditional' in that area and looks disgusting, but is actually very tasty... I'd always wanted to try it but never dared order it in a restaurant, so here was my opportunity... delicious! The only negative re the dining room was that we were more or less 'pushed outside' on a couple of nights when 2 or 3 large tour groups descended - who, I hasten to add, were no problem in themselves, but they closed the WHOLE dining room off for them, leaving only 2 small tables for four people left inside... and these groups didn’t even appear until most of the other diners had finished anyway... I think it could have been organised better with maybe asking guests to stick to a certain sitting for a couple of days... goodness knows what they would have done if it had been raining. We had some wonderful walks in the area to Trogir, Čiovo island and Seget Vranjica, as well as using the cheap water taxi that runs into Trogir from where you can get another ferry to Split etc. We were a bit disappointed that although it was still nice and warm and sunny most of the little bars and cafes near the Hotel had closed up by the time we left on the 9th. October - and as the Hotel lounge lacked atmosphere we were in bed by 8.30pm every night! We hired a car from Nova rent a car in Trogir for 3 days... I can recommend them as trustworthy - no complaints from us! Overall a fine hotel for the money, with lovely staff, but if you require 24/7 entertainment and facilities, this is not the hotel for you... especially at the end of September/early October when everything was closing down. Thank you to all the staff at the Hotel Jadran for welcoming us back to wonderful Croatia.

Very friendly hotel with helpful and kind staff. Room overlooking the sea and beach very comfortable. The restaurant catered for all tastes and the staff were always happy to meet your needs. Whilst WiFi is available in public areas only it did not spoil our stay. A great place to stay only 2 kilometers from the town of Trogir.

The Hotel Jadran is in a great location right on the seafront next to the water taxi pier. The water taxi will take you to Trogir or up to the next hotel for about £2.50 and runs all day. The hotel itself is very clean with large comfortable rooms and friendly staff. However as the majority of guests are German, the food is not to British tastes. We have eaten in hotels all over the world and this is the only hotel where we have failed to find something edible at dinner .It isn't even possible to make yourself a salad as the lettuce has usually run out and there are no cooked meats or cheeses to go with it. There is soup but you are face with strange flavours such as millet soup or mangol soup. When dinner opens at 7pm there is a feeding frenzy. The other guests rush in taking all the food and leaving the serving dishes empty. Their plates are loaded up with everything on offer. One breakfast I followed a man who took 12 bread rolls!! Aside from the awful food, the hotel is very nice. It is not suitable for anyone with mobility issues as there are lots of steps The area is very picturesque and the view from the rooms is beautiful. The beaches here are very rocky so it is advisable to bring some beach shoes as you don't want to miss out on the warm, crystal clear sea. It is very quiet at night and unless you take the water taxi you are confined to a few bars on a short prom. In the daytime there are boat trips and all kinds of boats for hire. I would recommend the fish picnic and the boat to Split from Trogir - although get there early as it is very busy as it is an hours scenic sail for just £4.

Lovely holiday 2018 We spent two wonderful weeks in Hotel Jadran, Seget Donji, Trogirska rivijera for the second time. We are very pleased and grateful to the complete hotel staff. The hotel complex is beautiful, built in the great 60's and 70', which we exceptionally like and is sorrounded by a beautiful green park, with many birds, cricketers, even squirrels, which is kept in exceptionally good shape. All rooms have a sea view, lovely terasses or balconies and are in close vicinity of the sea, a little old-fashioned, but clean and neat. TV in rooms are a little old and small, but they work just fine, and selection of channels is very good, with TV “Arte“, for us an indicator of a particular culture. The sea is very clean and warm. There is a big possibility to take walking and jogging beside the coast. The restaurant is beautiful, clean, with two bigger terraces on which we had breakfast and dinner with great joy. The kitchen's head chef Antun is a true master of its trade, food is first class and fresh, there is a big choice of salads, stews, pies, nice cutlets and cheese, enough fresh fruit and cakes. Bagles and bread are exceptional. The food tastets home made, and we are sure many of the gests don't have the same at home. The restaurant staff could be more trained, they do not speak foreign languages sufficiently The reception functions flawlessly, all receptionists are well trained, they speak more foreign languages, we can't ask anything more from them, we have especially noticed Janos and Antonela. Hotel like this should have 4 stars, with minor restauration. We thank to the whole staff on their hospitality. If life alowes us, we are 77 years old, we`ll come back next year.!
