Very clean and modern Villa. Apartments are decorated ina very contemporary style with a large terrace and great sea and sunset views. (We stayed in a 2 bed apartment on the first floor). Pool and terrace area are also stylish and immaculate . Great location to explore the area Trogir,Split, Krka National Park. Seget Donji itself also has some good local restaurants especially Restaurat Buta (very good pizzas and sea food). Trogir is a short Taxi Boat ride away 30 KN return, 30 minute walk or Taxi ride 10 mins 80KN/10EUR. The all female team running the Villa were excellent; friendly helpful and efficient. We would definitely recommend a stay here away from the hustle of Split. Many Thanks Villa Ana.
Spent a lovely few days here at the start of our holiday. Easy transfer by Uber from the airport. We arrived early and apartment ready for us which was a nice surprise. Comfortable apartment, very good bathrooms, nice beds and lovely view from the terrace; always something interesting to watch, Staff were always smiling and happy to help; also spoke very good English. The pool is a beautiful, peaceful spot and another highlight were the great breakfasts. A good selection of fruit, cake, meats, cereals, egg and lovely cakes. Local beaches were ok but we preferred the ones right at the end by the Belvedere campsite. Pretty walk/run through the forest. We took a water taxi a couple of evenings into Trogir. Enjoyed the journey & Trogir is beautiful but sadly overrun with tourists so a bit spoilt. Luckily we found piccolo pointe restaurant in a quiet backstreet which we enjoyed. All in all a great few days, thank you!…
Location: 20 minutes Uber journey from the airport. Hotel is on a main ish road in segret so there is traffic but really not a big deal once in hotel Parking: we didn’t drive but if you do parking out the front is safe Reception: great friendly staff Room: family of 4 we had a 2 bed apartment with balcony. Balcony great views of the sea 🌊 and just big enough for all of us to eat in the evening. Not huge though by any means. Aircon fantastic Room cleaning superb Bathrooms great Beds really good Kitchen tiny but functional Tv - didn’t use really but mostly German tv Positives: Staff all friendly and helpful always looking happy- must be the vit D Breakfast for 8 euros just do it as really nice (cake also 😉) Swimming pool - loved it not heated but we liked that as it’s 32 degrees here and refreshing. Boys playing skim ball in it Location- well it’s far enough away from Trogir which is a big positive as it’s too busy there. More chilled location Sea swimming- water is great (not as great as the islands however but still great), best beaches are medina direction walk through the forest area on the coastal walk. Best wibit there also. Great coastal run in the morning also again medina direction Restaurants- go to the sea front and turn left to the marina area (4 nice restaurants) Negative: None really, just the camp site area to the left of the hotel looks a bit sad . Really no issues with hotel Food shopping: don’t go to the kamp shop as it’s totally rubbish 🤦♂️. Carry on and you will see a ribola shop which is great (10min walk) . It’s on the Vila ana side of the road (not the supermarket opposite it). There is a great bakery on same side of the road as the ribola (again there is another bakery opposite side of the road which I didn’t try) Ps try walking on the water front to the ribola as the road walk is a bit off a path for 20 meters or so. We were only there for 4 days and just chilled really and snorkelled a lot plus used the banana boat which was hilarious 🤣 Didn’t do krka waterfalls as heard it’s too busy in August and glad didn’t go Trogir- ok it’s stunning especially by ferry boat but it can get really really busy hence suggesting eating at the marina. If you do eat there go to the side where the ferry stops not the far side as it’s too busy there Ferry taxi- they are at the sea front near the hotel so easy to get about without a car hence why we didn’t hire one. They go to medina and Trogir about 70 krona for 4 Summary- great boutique style apartments with great staff and great location for this area . Would recommend …
Stayed for 4 nights, one double bedroom, one twin and two bathrooms with balcony. Lovely apartment with shared pool near the beach, few restaurants on the seafront and beds to hire, paddle boards and water taxi to Trogir. Only thing is kitchen is rather sparse, could do with a bottle opener and wine glasses. There is a very small fridge and two ring hob so ok for basic meals. Staff lovely and good location.
Just outside Trogir - which could be walked to approx 2 miles, taxi or water taxi. 100m to beach and water taxi down steep path. Apartment spotless and well equipped. Breakfast very good... Cereals, fruit, breads, salad, egg... All you need. Staff very friendly. If you are not mobile... There are quite a few steps and different levels so not one for you. Tiles around pool very slippy when wet. Generally a great place to stay
We stayed for 7 nights in June. Staff are lovely, very friendly and helpful, nothing was too much for them. Room was a good size, clean and very comfortable beds. Good air conditioning, room had a balcony with a pool and seaview. Plenty of choice at the breakfast buffet. Great location, 5 minute walk to a small beach, taxi boats take you to Trogir for 20 kuna per person approx £2.50, they run every 20 mins up until about 11pm, a very pleasant 10 minute boat ride to the main promenade. Boats go to all parts of Croatia from here including Split. I would definitely stay at Vila Ana again, it was also very good value for money.
The apartment overlooked the sea .It was spotless and the beds were very comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Close to a nice waterfront and beach for swimming. There were also several restuarants along the coastal path .You are only 10 mins from the airport.
Staying at Vila Ana really made our holiday, it was ideally located in seget dongi (, a 20 min walk from old town of trogir, , 10 min water taxi ride, 20 kuna each, or few mins in uber, 20 kuna, ), water taxi is right on beach behind hotel. , lovely walkway on seafront, plenty of bars and cafes either direction. Reception extremely polite and helpful, especially when i had problems with my credit cards . The rooms very clean, the girls are very thorough in their cleaning, i hid my teabag to use again, under a clean upturned cup... .. but they found it! There are apartents, but we had a room, it had a lovely big balcony, sea view, even a couple of cushions on the chairs, none of the usual plastic white rubbish..Spacious bathroom, tea and coffee making facilities, and fridge. , beds very comfortable. Breakfast is plentiful and varied, in an upstairs dining room with fantastic views,. Beaches pebble ones, and you do need sea shoes as lots of sea urchins, but the sea is very clean and clear. So enjoyed it, and wish we could have stayed another week. If you dont want to go on one of the organised excursions to split, there is a no.37 bus every 20 mins from the bus station in trogir, the bus station is opposite the ferry point, right by the train station and very near the palace. Stand no.1 for the bus back.…
The Villa was lovely, reception was friendly. The room we had was spacious and very clean. The bathroom was large and had shower gels. The location is on a main road, there is a lovely walk along the coast Breakfast was good with a selection of foods and the view of the ocean is nice.
Well this place is just beautiful. We stayed here 6 nights at the end of the August. Our room was spacious, clean, comfy beds and pillows, we could not ask for anything else. Pool area is very relaxing, enough sun beds, small pool but enough since the sea is one minute walk down the hill. Sea in this area is just perfect, clear water, nice beaches, many hidden spots, perfect for couples or anyone who likes a little privacy. Prices are nice, not so high as in Trogir city center. We will most probably come back.
