Had a wonderful weekend stay at The Escarpment Retreat. The villa was clean, spacious and beautifully decorated. The spa bath was fantastic and the lovely four poster bed was heavenly. It was the perfect place to sit back and relax in the tranquil grounds. The food was absolutely beautiful and the breakfasts were to die for. I would definitely recommend...

Stayed one night, should have been longer! We really needed some R & R with a stressful few weeks leading up to our very short stay. gary and team really made us welcome. We loved our villa, best sleep in ages. We enjoyed sitting out on the deck drinking the complimentary champers before heading out to dinner, thank you Gary!...

Stayed here for our wedding anniversary, upon check in whilst my husband of 23 years was looking for a place to park the car the receptionist took at least 2 phone calls if not 3, so I didn't have her undivided attention. The room was nice but smelt musty when entering, a rather large half dead cockroach came out of...

Thank you for taking the time to review our property. Our retreat is situated in a mountain known for its heritage rainforest. While beautiful, we wage a constant battle with driving animals out of our villas, a fact which you unfortunately found out. Our villas are fumigated twice a year. Our breakfasts are definitely NOT microwaved. The free range eggs...

The suites are so heavenly that you will want to stay there all weekend. Love to stay on the luxurious sofa and relaxing in the spa bath. We had a wonderful time in peaceful surroundings. Our room was lovely with the four poster bed and Carolynn and Helen were excellent hosts - and chefs! Looking forward to a return visit.

Me and my partner stayed there for 3 nights, on arrival the place looks amazing, the staff were friendly and helpful, each night we stayed we got a wonderful breakfast every morning, the little eating area was filled with other guests, it didn't seem to bother us at all that we had to eat with other people (6 Separate Tables,...

Wow. There are lots of "good" resorts, but not too many "great" resorts. This is a great resort. The rooms are large, immaculate and full of character. The food is top notch. The views are to die for. Come for a week of supreme relaxation or a romantic weekend. Come and experience unparalleled luxury in Mt Tamborine. An experience not...

We recently stayed on the mountain to celebrate my birthday, & we have stayed at other places on the mountain. We finally decided to stay here based on fantastic reviews. We were horribly disappointed, this place is definitely not luxury - Carolynne who was on reception was very frosty and not very welcoming at all. Your welcoming glass of champagne...

From the first vision over the fairy bridge into fabulous gardens, this place is a beautifully thought out retreat from hotels and crowds. In the busiest time of year it remains calm and secluded with cool, romantic rooms to escape the summer heat. Comfy lounge to watch the excellent choice of movies, a small verandah to enjoy the private garden...

We stayed here for two nights. Once we got here, we immediately felt welcomed by Carolynne who checked us in swiftly and offered us a glass of champagne each. We also got to pick up a few DVDs to borrow for free. They had a good collection of movies and definitely something for everyone to enjoy. The villa was great...
