We spent one night in the hotel during our tour of West Crete. The hotel is beautifully located and we were housed in a quite new extension, in a very large room with a large terrace with direct sea view and a large comfy sitting area. The room is well furnished with a fridge and tea/coffee making facilities, a very modern bathroom and very large walk in shower. The swimming pool is very pleasant, with enough sitting provided, a view on the beach and mountains. This was a very relaxing stay and we made the best of the swimming pool and view. The breakfast was good quality for a buffet breakfast, with fresh products.
The help at checkin was minimal but the staff was otherwise friendly. The hotel was one of the most expensive of our trip, which made its value for money not that impressive when we compared with the other accommodations we had, but the suite was almost new and the location was splendid.

Falassarna beach is famous for it's sunsets so it makes no sense to go there for a day trip and not stay until sunset. We took the bus from Chania on a Saturday, spent the night at Panorama and went back to Chania the next day and it was perfect. The beach can get a bit windy so it's perfect to have the hotel to retreat to and the pool was perfect and the best place to watch the sunset from is the restaurant terrace at the hotel - where the food is also very good. I entirely recommend. The staff was also very accommodating with checking in and out and leaving luggage. We'll be back.

Panorama hotel is well named as it has an amazing panoramic view from the rooms, the pool and the terraces. We arrived late and were offered a very nice welcome drink.
We stayed in traditional rooms which were advertised as having a balcony with side sea view so didn’t expect it to be great but in reality the view is of the pool the mountains and the sea so it was wonderful. These rooms are very comfortable traditional Greek and had everything needed.
We had eaten here before on previous trips so knew the food was excellent and it didn’t disappoint and the sunset view adds to the experience. Breakfast was an array of eggs, cheese, fruits, yogurt, breads etc with juice and black coffee and enjoyed on the terrace.
The pool is huge and has the most comfortable sun-loungers we have ever sat on, lots of shade and a bar at the pool for cold drinks.
It’s a 5 min walk to the beach where there are loungers, cafes and the amazing blue sea to enjoy.
Thank you we will definitely return and will try one of their new wing rooms next time.

The hotel was rated as 5 star, that was absurd, it may have been 5 star 20 years ago, I feel 3 star would be more accurate. The entertainment by local entertainers was ok, however the animation team were an absolute joke. Two young girls that had no get up and go. The water aerobics they put on, if they could be bothered was dire. Evening entertainment, Limbo didn’t take place, adult couples games, they sat at one or two tables and played a game of cards. One nice guest showed them a card trick that was the highlight that evening. Waiting staff were fault less, very helpful and polite both at the pool and in the restaurant. Food in the restaurant was lovely, maybe where some of the five stars come from. Bar staff also excellent. The receptionist s were also excellent helpful and accommodating. Lifeguard really, more interested in his little shaded slot away from the pool, not sure how that would work in an emergency, he seemed more interested in realigning the sun beds that keeping an eye on the pool. All the sun beds were reserved for large periods of the day with no occupants, if they have a policy on this it’s obviously not managed. Furniture in the room was dated, I haven’t seen a hairdryer of it’s type for nearly 20 years, everything else was adequate. We stayed five days that was ample.

We loved this hotel. They built a modern new building last year with beautiful modern, clean rooms. The pool is clean and modern. The free breakfast was delicious and had a huge selection. We loved that they have a relationship with Beach Bar Avoratos where you get a private beach, modern sunbed/umbrella service for drinks/food for 10 Euros. The beach uncrowded and had patches of pink sand and perfect for swimming.

PANORAMA TAVERN FALASARNA- Excellent food, nice views and brilliant staff. We really did enjoy spending our evenings here, we will be coming back again, when we will be in Falasarna. It was our first choice to come and eat and we decided it’s the best tavern we’ve been to in Falasarna. Prices are also reasonable.

Desserts are on the house including their special Greek “water”;)

We are just back from a stay at Panorama which made our stay in Falassarna so much more enjoyable. The hotel overlooks the spectacular big beach by the same name, yet it is not directly on the beach; thus offering the best of both worlds: wonderful sea views and being away from the beach crowds. It is a 5 minute walk to the beach.

Our junior suite in the new wing was extremely spacious and had superb views. The bedding was very comfortable and every modern amenity was provided. Wi-Fi was excellent all over the hotel.

The restaurant, where we dined every night was by far the best in town, every other restaurant bordering on fast food (souvlaki and gyro, tzatziki and moussaka, and the like). Here, elegant fish dishes with a unique view of the beach.

The breakfast was very good and included local specialties, like cheese pies and salads, in addition to the usual fare. The family that runs the hotel is very courteous, friendly, and accommodating, as is every member of the staff.

Highly recommended!

We had a room in the new building and we were perfectly happy there. A top quality accomodation, modern, spacious, comfortable, quiet, and of course that wonderful sea view, with breathtaking sunsets!

The only thing we did not enjoy so much was the breakfast buffet. The coffee which is provided there is really poor, and "real" coffee costs extra. The variety of breakfast dishes was also not that great. We had late lunch once at the restaurant, and that was good.

Lovely hotel right by Falassarna beach. The staff here were so kind and so helpful and really made the experience so wonderful. The view from the hotel is absolutely stunning - you have a perfect view of the sunset and the sea. The pool area was fab, lots of sun loungers and the pool was spacious and clean. The rooms are basic but clean and functional with WiFi, air conditioning and a safety deposit box. The balcony was lovely and roomy too....
Also the food here was phenomenal.
I’m already planning my next visit, I’ll only ever stay at this hotel when I come to Falassarna moving forward.

In the area of Falassarna it is difficult to find spa or fitness areas. In Kissamos there are 2 gyms. We can suggest you about spa services in the area if we know exact what you are looking for. On the beach of Falassarna take place courses of serf. In our hotel we offer free bicycles for our guests to explore the area of Falassarna.
