Stayed in a superior one bedroom apartment for 2 nights. The apartment was a good size for the two nights. The resort has 4 pools, 2 of which are heated, though even the non-heated pools felt warm. We went for an early morning swim to beat the crowds and it was very enjoyable. Parking spaces are allocated per unit and can be a little tight to get into depending on the car next to you. The curtains in the bedroom of our unit were also smaller than the window so there were a few issues with light and privacy.
We have just returned from a 10-night stay. We stayed in a 3-bedroom resort apartment (#55) with 2 x adults and 3 x teen boys. I'll start by saying, that usually over a lengthy stay anywhere, you start to see "the cracks" but this did not happen here. South Pacific is a really well run resort- friendly staff, very clean, really well maintained, beautiful gardens. The multiple pools mean that even if a crowd of rowdy kids come, you can move on to another pool or spa. The positives: -Huge apartment - we adults had our own space, as did the teenagers. -Very comfy beds (new?) -Gorgeous, brand new bathrooms (there are 2 in the 3-bedders) -The gardens are lovely, the pool area = amazing...laying there you can be anywhere in the world!! Hawaii, Bali, Thailand, take your pick :-) -Maintenance in our apartment and around the resort is 100% - the buildings all looked freshly painted on the exterior. This is not a 'new' resort, so upkeep to this level is impressive. -Pools were sparkling clean all the time. 2 x are heated as advertised and the spas are hot! -It is far enough away from the hustle of Hastings Street and so relaxing, but it's close enough if you decide to go out. -Free council buses were running for our stay, so no need for a car. -Full laundry is very handy so don't over-pack! -Aldi is a 5-minute walk away too, so handy to have a full kitchen and not have to eat out all the time. The negatives (or should I say, "suggested improvements") -We were in a 1st floor apartment, and noise is a problem between floors. Most of the noise comes from the dining chairs on the hardwood floors (simple felt pads on chair legs and/or hardy sisal rugs would mitigate this) and the washing machine (perhaps a courtesy curfew?) -Izzy Chai has a nice outside balcony, it would be awesome if they offered a Happy Hour and some limited poolside service! This would raise my review to a 6-star!! -Music by one of the pools. We bought our own vibes and no one seemed to mind, but some island music playing would really add to the atmosphere! Will we be back? Absolutely! Already booked our next 2 holidays here!! Congratulations to the team who work here, they clearly love what they do and take a great deal of personal pride in it.…
My mother daughter and I stayed for 3 days in the wonderful resort! We had an emergency happen on a camping trip and thank goodness found South Pacific resort! Upon arrival the key was very easy to find as we were late and had excellent directions to our room. The resort is like arriving to a Hawaiian island retreat! Stunning! Our car park was under cover and a short stair climb to our room! When we opened the door it took our breath away! Stunning polished floors! Beautiful comfy furniture! Massive kitchen , massive bedrooms and bathrooms and a bonus huge balcony! AC and Fans and our unit number 17 was surrounded by lush tropical palms so very private. We could still see the free form pool below and bungalow which was another outstanding feature of the resort 2 pools! I think one was heated and all the kids were in that one which was perfect while we got to relax around the one closest to us. The cleanliness of the room and the resort was spotless! Plus there is a fantastic Thai restaurant on site. The resort has a shuttle right out front to take you to Noosa if you don’t want to drive free! And a beautiful very reasonably priced day spa!! Hastings st has nothing on this resort! I would choose to stay here over there in future as it is so relaxing snd you truly feel like you are in Hawaii! The front desk team were wonderful and friendly too. ❤️…
We three couples booked a three bedroom roadside apartment for three nights, the apartment was neat and tidy and well equipped. Though we were initially worried about roadside noise, however we didn't feel much noise. The three-bedroom apartment was in fact two adjoining apartments: one ensuited one-bedroom with a kitchenette and a two-bedroom with one bathroom and a full kitchen. The place had multiple swimming pools, spas and a sauna. The environment around the apartment complex was very peaceful and enjoyable. It is located about 3 KMs away from the Hastings Street and thus was very handy for enjoying what the Noosa Heads has to offer. Overall we have had the best experience.
Went for a long weekend with my partner, first time in Queensland again after Covid. This is probably my fifth short holiday there - always loving it, my favourite resort in Australia. Apartments, pools and gardens well looked after. Always able to find a quiet spot next to one of the four pools. Awesome coffeeshop (Cove) for breakfast in walking distance as well as Aldi and farmers markets. Short Uber ride to Hastings Street, River area with restaurants 22 mins walk. Stayed in apartment 13 this time. Liked that it had a sunbed on the balcony. If any critique, the new Thai restaurant is a bit smelly (this apartment bit close to kitchen).
