Myself and my boyfriend stayed at Meon Valley overnight on Friday 30th November and left this morning. Although only 15 minutes up the road from our home, we thought whilst we didn’t have my children for the evening - whats better to do than book an overnight stay to enjoy the sp

Exceeded all expectations.
Rooms - warm, comfortable, well sized, good ventilation if you have a hairdryer on. If you want to be fussy only negatives. Plug point far from bed and a little dust on a glass shelf. Powerful shower, usual touches, hairdryer, soaps, shower cap, tea, c

My husband and I stayed here at the weekend after staying many times before. When we checked in there was a notice on the desk which said the swimming pool was closed for repair - apparently they were waiting for a new part. This was extremely disappointing as the only reason we

I’ve been visiting this hotel for over 25 years for various reasons , including as a member of the golf club but this latest stay has seen what I consider a significant change in the atmosphere within hotel and the attitude of some of the staff

Location good, in the middle of nowhere and quiet as it is set away from the road. Bit dated in certain areas but not bad, it is not expensive so you get what you pay for. Really enjoyed the stay and had a good few nights sleep here. Did not get to use the pool but looked fine.

We have booking in August, will you still be trading as a Marriott hotel ? or have you sold the hotel on ? Abit worried.

Is this part of the same Marriott group which apparently attempted to sabotage Southampton FC's match in Swansea?
Hi, not sure your question isn't a bit tongue in cheek but the only time I was at Meon Valley I saw the official SFC travel coach parked outside and so I guess the football club and the hotel group possibly have a decent trading relationship? I'm more Hilton than Marriott but wouldn't expect any such deliberate action - and the episode certainly doesn't seem to have had an adverse effect...

We will be taking a cruise on NCL early next year and was wondering 2 things. 1. Cost from Southampton airport to your hotel and 2. Do You have a shuttle service to the port (Both ways) as we will be staying overnight at your property on out return. Thanks Doug Gilliatt (Marriott Gold)
I'd ask the hotel. We were only guests there. Hope you have a good trip. All the best. Julian

Hi Anyone recommend the spa at this resort?
Yes we used the pool jacuzzi steam room and spa. All very good and had really friendly helpful staff. We left thoroughly relaxed. Be careful when ordering wine, I certainly wasn't expecting my one glass to cost £10!
