Enhancing the experience, well equipped facilities and attentive staffs will be at the dispense of our guests. At a peace of mind, our resort invested a tremendous amount of efforts to ensure we preserve the integrity of the valley. We've incorporated as much recycled material as we can for the construction of the villas and taken appropriate steps to ensure our facilities are as green as possible. It is an Insta-friendly resort. I have taken many beautiful photos. However, I wish the resort can be maintained in a better way. Termite treatment shall be applied immediately to sustain the natural resort and facilities. It was observed that there was limited resources that the workers were multi-tasking as drivers, admin, waiters, cleaners and etc.

We stayed 1N in the resort at Lily Villa, the staff in charge was very helpful and welcoming. He tries his best to help whenever we needed help. Road on the way up is bad and narrow, and limited (very small) signage. Be extra careful if you plan to self-drive. Many woods (stairs, balcony, etc.) are aged and in need of maintenance / replacement, it could be dangerous for kids (or even adults) if they are not careful enough. Fridge (freezer) in the villa really needs de-froze and cleaning. It smells so bad until we dare not put our food inside. Ice build up in the freezer covers almost of of the space, we had to remove some to put our drinks (no, you can't chill you drink in the fridge but to put in the freezer). One last & most important thing! It's best that the owner pre-warn your client (especially those who booked Lily) if there are any groups/company coming for team building. If needed, why not check with your client if they want to swap/change the room type, I'm sure most of them will say yes. We had one group coming for team building at the pool during our stay, they utilize the pool whole afternoon (until dawn) so we can't actually enjoy/relax at the pool but to suffer with their inconsiderate noise WHOLE AFTERNOON! FYI, Lily is the villa that is facing swimming pool, so think twice before booking this unit. Overall it is an enjoyable trip, despite the noise.…

It is really up in the middle of the jungle. A little inconvenient to get there unless you have a car. Other than that, it is a beautiful place amongst the nature. Really quiet. Huge villa. Great for a family retreat. Breakfast is served to your veranda. I went with my husband for our anniversary trip and we enjoyed the quiet time. They had in house karaoke, a shared swimming pool. It was value for money.

The resort is located outbound from the hustle bustle city, it is surrounded by forest and it is very suitable for escape from city. The only imperfection of this resort is the road leading from city to the resort, it is very dangerous narrow road. Some more, it is very dark during night, there is no street light. The signage leading all the way up to resort is small and damaged, some are not clear enough to see. Phone signal is very weak so it is hardly to contact if misleading the road. The staffs are helpful in the resort, the resort is very good. Maintenance should improved as wood inside the resort seems old. You have to bring own food for dinner, they only provide breakfast.

Had always wanted to stay in an accomodation nested in the forest. Fig Tree Hill Resort totally fit the bill! The rooms are very clean and comfortable. With the sound of nature surrounding you, it could just allow one to rest, relax and unwind yourselves. Lily was very kind in making arrangement prior to our visit and transport arrangement. As for dinner option there are no restaurant within the vicinity, we would need to get our food from the nearest Giant. This makes our stay even more special where we get to BBQ and steamboat in the arms of mother nature! The hike up to 541 美人山 was quite a bit to climb and a good form of exercise. If you enjoy taking photos of nature, this is a nice place to visit too. Highly recommended to anyone who likes nature! Do prepare insect repellent and mozzie patch 😉!…

We had great time experiencing a new type of living.. Staying for 3 days Was not enogh.. A place with every thing you need just in a silence place We enjoyed the BBQ nights..But Hope there was some food supply nearby! Hope to go back again and see new things there.

The wood house...the surroundings, are just simply amazing, the trees, birds chirping..nature. it was a perfect weekend! This resort is one of a kind and there is no such other resorts of this high standards anywhere else in penang so its on top of our list always. :)

Amazing retreat villas located in Penang. It was an amazing experience that I will remember . The stuff was great , they speak less English but it was all good.Special thanks to the friendly stuff and very helpful. The Manager Sim was hosting well with all information that we need . After we meet up with a men name Tony , believing he was the one who run the show behind all the villas. He is very humble and helpful with all well knowledge and explore.

This hotel is quirky and probably the most outlandish hotel you’ll stay whilst in Penang. Each lodge is unique and original, and filled with lovely antiques … and, strangely, karaoke machines. It is situated in the middle of the forest, high up the hill. It has a small swimming pool, but no restaurant. Breakfast was delivered to us on a beautiful patio area sitting on a goldfish pond next to a waterfall. It’s close to the airport but you’ll need to plan your journey carefully, as the hotel is in the hills at the top of a very poor local road. The hotel does operate an airport shuttle though, and Stephen, our driver, was very friendly, informative and helpful. This hotel really caters for those wanting to get away from it all for a few days, so beware that it does not have a restaurant or much in the way of cooking facilities, bar the barbeque. During the evening, the hotel arranged for a local taxi driver to pick us up and take us to the food court at the Spice Center in Penang where we had the most wonderful local food. Suffice to say, we thoroughly enjoyed our one night stay here and will fondly remember our last evening in Penang, nestling amongst the forest in our very own luxury tree house. I don’t really have anything negative to say about Fig Tree. It is unusual! To improve, I think the management could introduce a limited evening meal to guests, possibly a fixed menu highlighting some of the beautiful food that you can find in Penang.…

Certainly your comment are very valuable to use , as there are more then an improve needed to be done on maintenance and food . Great news , we are in half way of expending our pantry to be full size kitchen , by soon all can enjoy food & beverage soon by this year end . Up coming with Yoga class & foot massage reflexology included soon. (Only for 2 guests free. Others will be extra charges edition) Unfortunately , we are located in between others farms land which own by others private sector . The road itself are from all private land owners contribution for public use . We do hope one day we could manage to make all owner support to re do a propel road.
