At the AC Lounge Ms Ng was very attentive to our need. She would move the chairs for a different location to enable us to sit comfortable. Meanwhile , in the next day, Ms Khim served me a very good shot if Coffee However there is Broken dangerous chair in the Room The TV was not working at all and the air condition has a Noisy compressor Overall service is good but I think short of staff The fur tie is not upkeep properly Looking Forward to the next stay

Apparently the property is in the process of being converted into a full AC Hotel. At least there is another hotel name under this address, the Grab driver also knew the other name and one or the other amenitiy still exists from the predecessor hotel. Accordingly, we are generous in our assessment of the condition of the rooms. These are simply in need of renovation. Everything is still reasonably in order. But stains in the upholstery of the chairs, cabinet doors that are warped or loud vents in the bathroom indicate the corresponding age of the equipment. On the other hand, the lobby and the restaurant have apparently already been renovated. Because there everything shines quite modern and new. The staff was very friendly throughout. As a status guest, we got a great room upgrade. Breakfast was also tasty, although the selection was not particularly large and somehow strange. We did like it though. Perhaps because of the conversion and the renovations that seem to be going on at the moment (but we didn't notice), our room rate was very reasonable. Unfortunately, you are always accompanied by a certain level of noise in the hotel. Be it the ventilation of the air conditioner, or the exhaust air in the toilet, a fan somewhere on the floor or the street noise from outside.

Generally alright experience for the price. Nothing too "wow", but also nothing major to complain about. We booked the 3-bedroom suite ("apartment" might be more appropriate), and it was spacious enough for 2 families with 2 young children each. The place felt a little dated, as a couple of things were old and not working too well, but to the hotel's credit, they did manage to resolve those issues during our stay. Cleanliness was generally OK. Parking was slightly challenging for us with a Starex which could not fit into the basement. However, we did manage to find a parking space within the open-air parking area on most nights. Walking distance to a couple of good F&B spots, so that was a bonus. A couple of misses though: - Requests took quite awhile. On a couple of occasions, we submitted requests at about 9pm, but only heard back from the hotel staff the following morning. - Swimming pool is small and perpetually too crowded. however, even more concerning was the light feature that had fallen off, with exposed cables.

I called them more than 10 times over different time frames, each time waiting on the phone over 10 minutes, to clarify my reservation, but nobody picked up the phone. I even messaged them on Facebook but no one replied. I really don't know what to do now regarding my upcoming reservation. I'm leaving this review so that someone from the hotel can contact me. I have no choice by but resort to leaving a bad review to gain attention. I made my reservation online but I really need to talk to clarify my booking. Thank you!!

Just okay. Still lots of rooms for improvements Breakfast: 7/10 Wide varieties compared to other similar rating hotels. Room: Twin bed is just too small. Room amenities can be improved. Toiletries provided only one set for two guests Housekeeping: Salute to housekeeping staff-they are very attentive to details. Front desk: Tone of voice can be improved. Overall service was okay 7/10 Lobby Ambience: 7.5/10 Cleanliness (overall-restaurant, washroom, lobby): 7.5/10 Surroundings: Not many shops walking distance except a 7-eleven, a barber shop, Kayu Nasi Kandar, and some car repair shops. Overall it was just a slightly above average business hotel. Good if you are working nearby Bayan Baru/Bayan Lepas FTZ area. Other than that nothing much impressive about this property. Slightly overpriced with this kind of facilities/service.

We stayed 6 nights in a 3 room apartment and the aircon in 2 of the rooms were leaking and not cold at all. Daily Cleanliness by housekeeping must be addressed as many items were missing or not replenished plus cleaning of tables etc. Very run down and bedding is not comfortable. On the 3rd days onwards, housekeeping placed all the new towel in the dinning room table. No kitchen as it was locked. The rooms all smells. We had aroma diffuser which helps a little. Front desk staff - very few were helpful. Making you feel unwelcome The only nice touch is the dried lavender placed in the lobby every night after 9pm . Queensbay Shopping center is about 8 mins by taxi and to get to Georgetown, the journey is around 30-35 mins by taxi or to Penang Hill. Location wise, not too great. Anyone talking outside the main door can be easily heard.

I would not recommend this hotel as his location is very very noisy, day and night. And unfortunately they just have single wall windows. Double wall windows would have help fighting about the recurrent noise. Rooms and furnitures are tired, small and old television. During my stay WIFI wasn't available for a complete evening. Very small bar and closing early.

For a business & conference trip, we booked a 3-bedroom suite for 3 nights. The car park did not have any lifts to the lobby. Good thing we packed light. Check-in was smooth and the staff at reception were very helpful. The suite was clean and while it looks refurbished and painted, small details were overlooked. Chips, dents, and windows looked dirty. We expected a pantry at least since it's a 3-bedroom but nope, it was locked. Minibar fridge and kettle were stuffed into a study room and an ironing board. It looked misplaced and inconvenient to use. The rooms, bedding, and bathrooms were clean but could be improved. No saucers or even some spoons or cutlery were provided also. A water dispenser was put into the study as well but the bottle looks refilled or old. On the first day, we encountered multiple issues with the door lock, resulting in us being trapped outside. To the staff's credit, they were quick to respond but this showed that small things like the door locks were overlooked in the refurbishment. The small things mattered and while overall it's good value and a comfortable stay for a business group, that is all there is. If it didn't say Marriott at the entrance, I would have given it 4 stars. With the Marriott name, thankfully, the helpful staff made it average instead of poor.

Enter the bathroom don’t have the floor mat, room switch spoilt. Call to front desk and they did a good job by sending maintenance guy and the floor mat in. Breakfast should start at 6.30am but until 6.40am only they accept the guest. No recommended for business traveller
