Stayed there for a business trip. My client book 3 rooms at the hotel for 6 days. The room is very comfortable, also the interior design of the hotel is better than usual budget hotel The staffs are friendly and very helpful Definitely will choose to stay at this hotel if staying in Penang in the future

Small hotel located in Gelugor, almost right next to USM. Plenty of eateries with different cuisines (fast food to Chinese to mamak to Malay to other Asian). Lotus's (formerly Tesco) is just next door. Parking is available and complimentary for hotel guests. Room itself is good size. Bathroom also good. Water pressure was excellent. Comfortable bed and pillows. Amenities were basic but adequate. Housekeeping was efficient. Ask for a quiet room. Check-in and check-out were a breeze. A refundable deposit in cash of RM100 is required for the room and another RM20 for each key card. It was a good stay.

The rooms are clean, fully equipped with amenities and reasonably well insulated from noise. The bed is comfortable, the A/C unit is quiet, and the shower water pressure is excellent!
My all-time favorite feature is the fast and reliable internet connection, which doesn't require constant logins to stay connected 👍
Above all, bicycles are allowed to be kept in the room. The corridors are spacious, and the two lifts are roomy and reasonably fast.
The hotel is in a great location with a vibrant neighbourhood, surrounded by shops and delicious food stalls. There's pasar malam (night market) right across the road, open every Sat evening.
It's more of a local district than a tourist area, so it's a bit far from popular sites such as Gurney Drive or Batu Ferringhi.
My only gripe is the lack of a mini fridge to store cold drinks and other items.

stayed there with my taekwondo friends for 1 night. It was very convenient as it placed near to convenience stores such as Happy Mark and even TESCO. There are a lot of restaurants around the hotel. The interior design is amazing and the room is clean!!

Picked this hotel because of the Southern location.
New hotel but poor maintenance. Had to call front desk for toilet paper holder and fridge. Both missing from my room 427. Halfway through my shower, hot water stopped flowing. Basement sheltered carpark not open for use, had to park in their open air carpark. Food courts nearby. Pleasant staff.

The room is very convenient and comfortable. I went there one day with my friends. Many restaurants nearby the hotel which makes the visitors easy. The staffs also very friendly and keep smiling every time I pass by the reception.

Stayed there with my family for 2 nights. It was convenient: near USM, near TESCO, CHEAP. The services were great and the room was comfortable. However, the ventilation for the room was not okay as there were no windows in my room. I think it is suitable for business trip.

i came here to ask for an USM event. Is good as the location is very near USM. Nearby have a lot of restaurant to have food for those who stay. Nearby have Tesco, 7-eleven and Happy Mart. So it's quite convenient.

I had a business trip to Penang on December 26 to 29, 2017. My office booked this hotel on my request.
Car Park Open air car park located at the back of the hotel. Once you are in, parking lots located the left hand end are lit by a spot light located at the side of that utility building in the car park. There is a rear door from the reception to the car park which is opened from 7.00am to 9.00pm.
Reception Check In and out is fast and easy. Just the usual, passport or identity card request upon check in. There is a deposit of RM100.00 payable upon check in and refundable at check out.
Room I asked for high floor room, therefore I was given Room 410, located on the top floor. Bed is comfortable. Writing desk is available, there is no wardrobe, just a rack with hangers located next to the rack with kettle and coffee. Flat screen TV is wall mounted, there is a usb port at the back, I plugged in my usb hard disk to watch documentary. The gap is quite narrow, so unique skill is needed to find the usb port and plug in your hdd. Cleanliness is excellent.
I normally pull curtains apart so that I can see the outside of the room. Double track curtains was provided, the thinner layer seemed to be taped together at the top end with velcro strap or something like that. Therefore to have my view I used the window handle to keep the curtains apart.
Bathroom Size ok, comes with basin, mirror, toilet, shower area with shower curtain.
Breakfast. My office did not book this room with breakfast. Anyway in Penang food is abundant everywhere.
Public Transport I saw Rapid Penang Bus no. 301 pass by the outside of the hotel. There is a bus stop located just outside of the hotel. To get to George town city, take this bus from the immediate outside of the hotel. Returning from Georgetown, alight the bus from bus stop located opposite of the hotel.
Tesco is located within walking distance.
