I visited this hotel with my son for a skiing break, in February 2019. It was our 8th annual visit and once again they exceeded our expectations. We were warmly greeted on arrival by Alois. Our room was immaculate, as were all the communal areas. The buffet breakfast (continental) was plentiful and well presented. Dinner was served in the main restaurant - a cosy, rustic area with lots of tirolean charm. My son is a Vegan, each night a suitable (different) meal was produced. We will be returning next year
Kogele hotel delivers an exceptional service, which is above and beyond. I am satisfied with the quality of the room, it was clean, comfortable and equipped with all the bedroom essentials. The breakfast was of high quality and I liked the range of continental breakfast choices available. The staff were friendly, attentive and made me feel welcomed. The hotel itself is situated in a beautiful location, with great views of the mountains in the local area. The restaurant service was very good, as the food arrived promptly and was delicious. I am overall satisfied with the service that the hotel provides and would strongly recommend it.
Great place to stay. The rooms are a good size, clean and tidy. Fantastic Breakfast, try the Scrambled eggs with Ham & Cheese. 4 Course Dinner was excellent and the service & staff are great. Highly recommend a stay at the Kogele. Booked for next year.
We only spent one night at this hotel but found it very pleasant and comfortable. We took advantage of the tickets for the local leisure centre that were offered on check in and spent a lovely couple of hours there in the various pools, at no additional cost. We then drove into Innsbruck for the evening which was a delightful experience. Our room was spacious, and the breakfast was good (although there was a brief delay bringing out some items after they had run out at the buffet, we had plenty to eat in the end and enjoyed it). Friendly staff, good hotel, convenient location.
Let me begin by saying that we booked this hotel about 20 minutes before arriving as we were having car issues on the drive to Italy. Despite this, the staff were extremely accommodating, lovely and welcoming. All of the staff we came across seemed to speak good English which was very useful as we travel through many countries and it’s difficult to remember all the languages. Location: The location is in a beautiful, remote village called Axam which is about 15-20 mins drive from Innsbruck. There is next to no noise pollution in this area which makes it a perfect retreat for people seeking solitude and nature. Waking up to a view of the mountains was a treat. If you pick up a map from the front desk you can see that nearby are many recreational activities that we unfortunately did not get a chance to see as we left early this morning. Rooms: We had the basic family room which contained an en-suite, a triple bed, a sofa bed and a bunk bed (5 adults and 2 kids total). The room was very large and myself and my family were very pleased with the size of the room as it allowed us to be in the same proximity but simultaneously have our own space. Everything in the room was virtually spotless and clean. Some soaps, body washes/shampoos and towels were provided. Although the windows were rather small, the views from them were beautiful and peaceful. The only downfall I can think of with this room is the fact that there was no air conditioning, and as we visited in August, this made sleeping quite awkward as it was quite hot at night. Also, I’m not a big fan of shower rooms as it is impossible to shower without getting water absolutely everywhere; however, saying this, the shower was very modern and had many settings. Food: We did not realise that we had breakfast included which was a nice surprise in the morning, they had a good range of continental breakfast which was very good quality and filling. In the evening my mother ate the soup with the Tirolian meat dumpling and she really enjoyed it too. The decor in the restaurant was very traditional and homely. Would thoroughly recommend this hotel/restaurant to anyone visiting Austria!…
