We had to moved hotel during our stay at Ngwe Saung, and came across this hotel. We asked to see the room at first (we asked for the cheap rooms) and were lead to a very nice room. It had double beds + single bed was clean, had AC, flat-screen TV, nice clean bathroom with hot water and kinda ocean...

Unfortunately this place is a dump. The rooms need a huge over haul And a good clean and disinfectant. The bathroom was gross and the overall vibe was Uninviting. This should be a $5-10 at best. No hot water. As basic as basic gets. I would not recommend this place unless you need to stay here for budget reasons

Felt really good to find peace in Ambo after riding through the horribly busy Chaungtha beach area. Room was very simple with ensuite bathroom. Night was cool so didn't even have to turn on the fan. They have a romantic pavilion on the beach where we had breakfast and dinner :-)

I stayed two night in this resort in Ngwe Saung. The staff is helpful and the location is excellent: practically on the beach and 10 minutes walking from the village. Room and bathroom are big but very simple. No hot water; electricity from 6 pm to 6 am and wifi working only at the reception.

This resort 1 min from the beach was a very nice place te stay. yes, there was no wifi and no electricity during the day but what can you expect in Myanmar and in a small place like this. The staff however was so nice, they helped us with everything including laundry. We went on a day trip to the...

We stayed at Ambo over the Easter long weekend, largely because of all the places we emailed Ambo was the only one to get back to us that had a price tag lower than $100! We arrived late, about 11.30, because we wanted to get over to the beach on our first night. Management was excellent and emailed us with...

For $60, considering we paid less 5 years ago at other other beaches, it wasn't worth it. We did get 4 beds for a family of 4 with air conditioning. As other reviewers have said, the power is on only from 6 pm to 6 am, but we knew to expect it. A local friend of ours booked the room,...

First is near village and have nice view, as all the resorts at the beach. But this is only minutes by bike, they dont have electricity from 6 00 am to 6 pm, because not have good generator. That show you as RESORT, is only a B+B with poor conditions. The people so friendly. I was the last week ......
