Detailed Reviews
We spent a few days at this country hotel with a group of friends and really enjoyed it. We all had rooms in the new building and they were very modern and comfortable. Ours had a very large bathroom with walk in shower, accommodation especially designed for a disabled person. Each room had its own balcony providing you with a lovely view of the area. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We had half board and the food was very good, breakfast was also excellent, cold cuts, cheese and hot dishes made on request. There is also a large parking area.

We enjoyed the weekend in this hotel very much. Nice surroundings, mountain view, great location if you want to stay in quiet place in nature for hiking. The staff was friendly and breakfast was just amazing! Home made granola, butter, yoghurt made it so fresh and top quality! Room was cozzy, clean and included everything we need. Thank you for good accomodation.

Nice place in the countryside. I normally stay in cities/towns, but on this date, my usual place to stay in Leoben was booked out. This seemed like a decent option, and it was. It's in a tiny hamlet all alone, so you have limited dining options, and not much to do in the village, but the hotel is nice and views are spectacular! The restaurant was nice, and staff were very friendly and helpful.

During our recent visit to Austria we had the opportunity to stay at Landhotel Reitingblick, and we loved it. The hotel was adorable and quaint, the rooms clean and spacious. The restaurant was delicious with absolutely enormous portions, and the atmosphere could not be beat. We had our windows open every morning so that we could hear the bells as the cows walked themselves out to the fields, and we kept them open every evening to hear them taking themselves back home. It was absolutely charming and oddly enough one of the highlights of my children’s visit to Austria! When we return, Landhotel Reitingblick will certainly be on our list of places to stay again.

We stayed here for 5 days whilst working close by. The whole experience was great from the moment we arrived at 00.30 am reception closed but we had pre arranged late arrival quick ring of the bell and we were all in our rooms within mins 8 of us. Breakfast is served in the bar with plenty to choose from the cold buffet and eggs cooked to order enough coffee and tea. We ate in the restaurant on the evening several times food arrived quickly piping hot and very good no complaints at all. Staff all very friendly and helpful. Now to the rooms mine had a fantastic view over the hills very clean good shower and a strong wifi signal that is free. This is a lovely hotel and we will stay here again given the chance

I have staying in this hotel for a week. It has really nice, clean rooms, big bathroom, with great shower and also window with great view from the bathroom. When you wake up you can go out on a balcony and just enjoy the most amazing view on the mountains. Also their food is really good, especially breakfast. Yoghurts, milk, bread are all from neighbourhood farms. The only bad thing is that the wi-fi only works in a restaurant.

First we were given a meager menu, only half of which was visible. (Not to mention that it was way too overpriced)
So we come to the main topic
We then ordered 2 house platters. One of them was just turkey and the other was as it was on the menu. (House platter "Reitingblick" for 2 people grilled and baked pork, turkey and beef with plenty of side dishes of all kinds € 36.80) We also ordered two salads, one mixed and the other a lamb's lettuce.
When we got the food I asked which one had no beef. She said they were all the same with pork and turkey without beef. I thought to myself, well, it doesn't matter, I didn't want to argue because otherwise the whole meal would get cold.
Just for the sake of thought
NO MATTER WHETHER IT WAS FRIES, SCHNITZL, BRATWURST OR HAM, it all tasted the same!
The meat has never seen a meat hammer (the Vienna sausage was about 0.8-1.2 cm, just awful)
The grilled turkey schnitzel was 2.5 cm thick
And the other grilled meat was even thicker
The lamb's lettuce was completely limp and greasy, like when you drink sunflower oil
We also found the cranberries under the rice, fries and oil sauce
Guys, what do you think when you leave the kitchen like that
So my conclusion is that 1 star is too much, I would definitely not recommend it to you!
Please take this to heart Why is your restaurant so empty
