Very good location, within the National Park of the Catalan Pyrenees. Cozy rooms. Very good breakfast, and most important - the owners, Janet and Hugo, are hospitable, very friendly and give good advice about tourist sites in the area. We loved our stay there.

We decided to stay here as a good staging post to explore the local area. The major draw-back which was NOT the fault of the owner/managers, was that the day we arrived major all night road works were due to start outside the hotel. The owners were totally honest and gave us the option of leaving on the strength of...

We stayed three nights at La Fontaine and I wholeheartedly recommend this charming establishment. We had a lovely room with a very comfortable bed and nice bathroom. Our room was at the back of the house and very quiet at night, making for a good night's sleep. The house itself has been a hotel since the seventeenth century with only...

My husband and I passed through olette via le petit train Jaune end route from Barcelona to Toulouse. The hotel is situated a short walk from the train stop and it's absolutely worth the overnight. Lovely rooms and property in an authentic, non-overly touristed French village

Stayed in La Fontaine on a trip to St Thomas les Bains during February. We had a lovely warm, unintrusive welcome from Janet and Hugo. Our room was wonderfully cosy and quiet. We were served a delicious and tasteful feast to complete a perfect day. Will return on our next trip to the area.

My boyfriend and I have just returned from a week long stay at La Fontaine. From when we arrived, owners Janet and Hugo went out of their way to make sure we had a fantastic holiday. Our room was spolessly clean, with a large double bed, en-suite and view of the mountains, breakfast each morning was delish! Janet and Hugo...

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at La Fontaine and had a warm welcome from hosts Hugo and Janet . Our comfortable room overlooked the square where all the life of the village could be observed during the day , with snow-capped mountains in the distance . The station for the Petit Train Jaune was a couple of minutes walk away...

The three of us stayed for the best part of a week in Sunflower House, a terraced house a couple of minutes walk up the hill from La Fontaine. With two vegans in our party, this was a particularly good option for us, but may suit others as there is no proper restaurant in Olette. Sunflower House is great. On...

We had a two night stay here. Our room was quite basic. Our room looked out to the small town square, and the main road just beyond, as a result we were advised not to leave our window open at night. The property was originally a hotel, the current owners have chosen to operate as a 5 room B&B. The...

We went for a three days trip to the area, and we really felt we were warmly welcomed by Hugo and Janet: they were very helpful in providing information about the area and the dinner prepared by them was excellent. We also had a very nice view from the room. Also it is possible to take a fantastic trip with...
