Have just spent 3 nights at Summerhill Farm with my partner and 8 year old and it was fantastic. Started with a really warm welcome from Ben and Alice. Yurt really well equipped. Beds and bedding very comfy. As there is no electricity in the yurts there were plenty of candles and a gas stove for hot drinks. Plenty of...

The yurts are lovely and comfy. Plenty of room for 2 adults, 2 teenagers and a dog. Log burners are fantastic, a single gas burner is provided as well as tea/coffee/sugar. Kitchen (in the barn) is very well equipped and there is ample space to accommodate more than one family in the kitchen at the same time. Ben and Alice...

We had a lovely time at summerhill farm. The yurt was lovely and fantastic views, great to wake up to the sound of sheep and cows rather than traffic. Kitchen facilities were very good. Would definately recommend if you want to get away and unwind.

The Yurt was very cosy. Lots of room and good value for a family of 4 with a dog. We stayed for a week during the half term in May. It was our first time glamping and this was ideal. The kitchen and play barn area were brilliant. The kids loved being on the farm and we had everything we...

We spent a wonderful weekend at Summerhill Farm. We hired 2 yurt's to celebrate my partner's 30th birthday. Ben and Alice were so accommodating of our (often vague) plans and had no problem with a few extra tents by the yurts for extra guests. Their lovely lurcher Bracken often joined us by the camp fire but is very friendly and...

I have just got back from a Mon-Fri stay in the "Broadhurst" yurt (I think) and absolutely loved it. I did not want to leave and wished I could have stayed longer. The farm is a bit deceptive when you arrive as there is no obvious clue that there are yurts or accommodation there, I had to drive past a...

Just had 5 days at Summer Hill Farm. Ben and Alice (farmer and wife) were so hospitable and helpful. The yurt was lovely, warm, nicely kitted out, and comfortable. We enjoyed bbqs and bonfires. The kitchen and showers were more than adequate and our kids enjoyed the games room next to the kitchen. The farm dogs were friendly and the...

Just visited Summerhill Farm for a Mon-Fri Yurt break and was a lovely chilled time. Really friendly welcome and relaxed atmosphere. Dog friendly, especially the yurt we stayed in (Oak/Orange Yurt) as we basically had our own field for the dogs without having to have them on the lead. Amazing views from the yurt too and close to walks in...

Being seasoned campers we fancied some luxury after last years wet summer. So a yurt seemed a great idea and we love Devon. It was fantastic. The hosts were extremely friendly and helpful. Yurt was very cosy, location was lovely, the facilities were great and the weather was perfect. If you fancy a bit of rustic camping with a bit...

We spent the most wonderful weekend on Summerhill Farm. Our Yurt was fantastic and incredibly comfortable. Waking up and looking at the most amazing view is wonderful. Very comfortable bed and lovely furnishings. It was the hottest weekend of the year, so spent most of it outside. Ben's great and spent several hours chatting. Their hamper was delicious, highly recommend...

“Orchard Yurt is further away from the main facilities but is nice and secluded and has the best views so worth the extra effort of you don't mind walking a little way down a hill with your bags!”
