The Marabou is a little bit remote set amongst the sugar and banana plantations in the south of the island - one needs transport to explore. There is no beach here, just a little landing stage and some rocks but the position is beautiful. However, one can just relax in one's comfortable apartment and enjoy the sun and silence (apart...

We spent three nights last week there. Just want to add some support to some earlier reports. Yes, it is off the main road, which is rough but I found worse roads. The beds are comfortable, it is quiet, except on Sunday's. The breakfasts were good but I would avoid the dinners, so we would go out for lunch and...

Hotel Cap Macabou has top-notch, friendly and accommodating staff. The grounds are gorgeous for the mountainous region! Rooms are rustically basic, but bed mattress was tempurpedic and comfy! The pool is awesome and located just outside the restaurant/bar area. Breakfast and dinner were local and fantastic! A special kudos to the fantastic kitchen/bar staff...we came in famished our first night...

The hotel was quite off the map: the only thing in the area are private residences and this hotel. It's about a 20-25 minute drive from any of the other towns down a rough road. The hotel is much more colorful in the pictures than it is in real life. The pool itself is nice, but there is no beach...

Hotel Cap Macabou is ideal for families wanting poolside relaxation. The room was clean and fine, with lovely garden views. The pool was excellent, and seemingly under-used. There were plenty of sunloungers........though not the most comfortable, and impossible to lie on your stomach! The beach is not very pleasant, and would benefit from a general clean up. Buffet breakfasts were...

Had to stay here on business as the islands other hotels were booked up for our larger group. The room was ok. Not the most luxurious we've stayed in, but it was clean for the most part. Only found the fridge in the outside verandah cupboard on the second day. One thing I'd change is the silly "stable" door on...

We have selected this hotel for a three day stay at the end of our sailing trip on Martinique. The hotel is located close to one of the most beautiful beaches of Martinique at Cap Macabou. Also, the hotel is located ideally to explore the beautiful south of Martinique. The hotel itself was very comfortable. The room was very clean...

We stayed just over 2 weeks here. From being collected from Marin by Celine 'yes, everything is possible' we had a wonderful stay. The breakfast is superb and lovely ladies to look after you here. We loved our room, bathroom and terrace. Again lovely girls looking after your room. Great AC, loved the huge shower head and water pressure. Loved...

We needed hotel only for one night before our flight, we book it because it was supposed to be like 15 km from the airport and we liked the idea of having the swimming pool. Well, 15 km was much much longer trip, but the pool was great;) We had rooms with nice terrace and view on the beautiful garden....

Our stay in Hotel Cap Macabou was to end a great month long trip through the Caribbean. I booked several months in advance, and as time went on, I noticed several bad reviews on Trip Advisor. I filtered these reviews and prepared myself for the bad road, the bad food and the bad music. I splurged for the ocean view...
