The hotel is simpel and does not have any charm. But worst of all they charge 100 pesos for a breakfast with a coffee and two pieces of toast with jam, with out butter. But the view was ok and it was clean.

Small B&B that has a spectacular view to the Laguna, and just what you need to visit Bacalar. The staff arranged for us a boat tour across the lake which is spectacular. Very good place to relax. Rooms are simple but clean. Breakfast is also good.

We found this place by accident while going around the town, looking something simple only for one night. We were three of us and we had only few wishes; not too many backpackers around and a clean, quiet place with a bed (nice view would always be plus!). We went to see quite a few spots and asked prices. This...

This is a great place to chlll by the lake. My room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Great if you have a car, but if not, it is a long walk into the centre.to get food. Do not believe Lonely Planet when they say it it is 500m south of the fort, it's a lot further than that! The staff...

I agree with all the bad remarks about this "camping" with a roof. Definitely not a BnB...... Runned down, stingy, buggy, cheap operation. Water is all you get here. You pay and you are on your own , no service at all..... Towels , are TERRIBLE. Dirty PVC tables and chairs , sofas, etc could be thrown to the garbage.......

We stayed here for a total of 3 nights, and found it very quiet, clean, and staff friendly, and helpful. It's a right on the lake side, and has a lovely deck off the common living area. There's a small deck off each room, and we had a large room with king size, comfortable bed. It had air conditioning, T.V...

We had a lovely 4 night stay here after leaving Magic Bacalar camping because it was too 'rustic' for us. Its a lovely peaceful place, with great views from the rooms of the stunning lake. Staff are friendly and helpful. Rooms are clean, spacious and have lovely balconies with a hammock overlooking the lake. Good free wifi and kayaks available...

Beautiful lakeside location with great terraces, large rooms and comfortable beds and good bathroom w plenty hot water. Nice to have shared refrigerator and microwave too as we preferred to make our own breakfasts and lunches . It is a long dark walk to town for restaurants and groceries. We preferred to use a taxi at nite since they were...

The saving grace of this hotelito is the view. Our room was dingy and the decor and paint were a childish attempt at kitcsh. The bedding had such a buildup of scented laundry soap or scented fabric softener that it felt rubbery. The smell was nauseating. The bathroom had some rust which is expected for a hotel on the water's...
