Nothing special about this old hotel, add a few couple of ringgits you can treat yourself a better clean and modern hotel around. Mouldy ceilings everywhere, rusty bath tubs, room temperature that was felt like 24degrees nothing cold from the centralised system. This further proven during checking in the room, there was an extra access room card already inserted earlier to make the room colder. Receptionist mentioned a so called Garden view, turned out to be a view of unkempt trees compound. The breakfast part, there was just ants and flies everywhere. Above the restaurant level, sits a Gawai and Raya decor designs that can easily be mistaken done by preschoolers. The poolside was nice, though effective security checkpoints behind the hotel is doubtful.
nice room with good food and nice people and also good environment near to the sea which can saw every time you eat at the cafe and you never forget the moment during sunset from the cafe view with chocolate icecream
I wouldn’t say it’s bad nor I would say it excellent. It’s acceptable though I think it’s not worth the price. I came with my family to attend a wedding at the same hotel. The hotel is pretty much basic & slightly old. The mattress quite hard & the pillows are not so ‘plush’. Not impressed with the toiletries. Having said that all the basic necessities are being met. No eateries nearby too
We booked this hotel only because of the pool as we were travelling with children. The hotel is big, the pool is reasonable. The service left a lot to be desired. Poor breakfast. The room we stayed had wooden flooring, which was good. We stayed for one night - a stop over before heading back to Miri.
The place is nice and comfortable to stay. Room also clean. AC not as cold though. Good location, near to the city. Service was also good. But I really like the cakes. Sometimes they have 50% discount and it becomes really cheap, and the cheese cake is very good.
I spent four nights here, also working out of the hotel during my stay, and eating all of my meals here. Service from all members of staff was uniformly outstanding, from check-in to check-out. Nothing was too much trouble. The room was a little tired, certainly, and basic, but it was comfortable, clean, with excellent wifi and efficient air-conditioning and was absolutely fine for my stay. There were small niggles such as a loose electrical socket and a light that didn't work and some quirks such as the light-switches dotted liberally and slightly bizarrely around the room. The shower wasn't very powerful and, for someone who is 6'1" tall, required some skill to get a full wash! The swimming pool was very good and very rarely busy and there is access from the grounds to…
Arrive Bintulu in the late evening. It happens to be the house is locked without a key to enter. No choice, have to check in hotel for one night stay. As we check in around 8 plus pm, the reception staff actually agreeable that we can check out as late as 1pm the next day. As we need to spend some time to get the home key. However, another reception staff still rush us to check out at 12pm in the morning. Thought there will be certain kind of communication between the staffs like written remarks. Otherwise, the cleanliness of the room is acceptable and all the necessary facilities are provided. The jogging pathway which is located next to the Swimming pool is a bonus point! This is certainly a very good photo spot.
The rooms and facilities are well-maintained despite being one of the old hotels in Bintulu town. The restaurants have pleasant ambience, clean and spacious. I find the older properties like Park Everly has bigger room space as well as the bathrooms compared to newer properties / hotels. Staff are polite and helpful. Beautiful sunset and sea view from the back of the Hotel. Excellent walking pathways / jogging track facing the seaview and well-kept lawn.
Check in was done smoothly i even get room upgrade . Thanks for that . Very reasonable price . Surprising hotel do have a swimming pool . Its quite old hotel yet it well maintain and cleaned . Efficient ground staffs . Overall i love the hotel .
Worst hotel! Get cheated by their reception during check in. I’m was asking for them to provide me with Standard room rate for the Deluxe room due to my stay will be two weeks here. He said it can be done. After 8 days of stay, found out they charge me with Deluxe room rate. Their supervisor said they never promise me anything regarding to that. I check out immediately on next morning. There is plenty of newer and better hotel in this town. By the way, internet is useless here.
