When we checked into the hotel, we felt like we had walked into magnificence. The beautiful stairway at the entrance, the comfortable beds, the robes and the elegance of the room made you feel that you would be well cared for - and you were. The only drawback was the ringing of the bells from the church next to the...

Someone wanted to make an old style hotel, but had bad taste and made horribly designed parade of kitsch. Rooms look much nicer then entrance. They are large with comfortable beds an decent free Wi fi. Bathroom has a jacuzzi bathtub and is clean. Restaurant is big and very expensive for the correct food, but nothing more and for the...

bedrooms are spacious and comfortable and quiet, although there are dogs that bark in the surrounding housing streets at night. breakfast is buffet style but the other meals are waiter served, with a choice of about 3 dishes. The food is good, except they don't know how to cook fried eggs! but omelettes are great! We went with a Saga...

We were on a Saga Holiday, and found this hotel very impressive. We got a welcome pack as we got on the coach from the airport in which our room key was in, so there was no check in, we also got a gl\ss of sparkling white wine on arrival at the hotel. Our room was 233 directly opposite the church,...

On arrival, the lobby was visually impressive as were the rooms in size and equipment. Sadly, the hotel was let down by the standard of the dining room, both in food quality, preparation, and service. Breakfast is buffet, and as an early riser, I was one of the first in the dining room, to find that there were many shortcomings...

Amazing room sizes with great views but for a five star hotel I had to ask for bathrobes, slippers, etc! The spa had some great treatments - try the body scrub but NO lights in the shower room! What was that all about? Lady in spa expected me to take a shower in the dark!!!!! Food was fair for a...

I organized my wedding reception at this place. At first it seemed like a fairy tale. The hotel is beautiful. I was offered three menus. First and foremost sign contracts for every little detail including table cloths before paying anything. Moving on, the menus were fine, I was offered the payment options of 30% deposit to save the date, 30%...

Stopped at this Hotel back in Aug,as part of a Saga holiday. Was very impressed as I prefer the older style of decor etc.Beautiful room, fruit and water in room waiting.Waiter service in restaurant, with a varied choice of menu, had no complaints at all.Staff all very helpful and friendly,my only criticism, would be that there was no evening entertainment.A short stroll takes you into...

We were on a three week land tour of Croatia and only spent two nights at Hotel President. On the positive side the hotel had that "old world" charm and the AC worked very well. However, it was not a great location (nothing around hotel) as too far from Split which is the place you want to visit and not...
