Excellent service from start to finish with rostrevor holidays. Great cottages so well equipped for all you need for a self catering break. Extremely accommodating for a big group of friends like us. We had a really brilliant stay in this idyllic spot and our children had the time of their lives..exploring together and playing in the grounds. Thank you... More

Thank you so much for your kind review. Your group will really stand out in my mind with the children playing outside from dawn to dusk on their bikes, in the playground, and with all the assorted crafts and chalk drawings! I'm really sorry I missed out on the Easter egg hunt though! Hopefully we will see you again, I'm... More

I stayed at Rostrevor Holidays for a month, while studying abroad with Westmont College. The owners of the Holiday Homes, Liam and Deedee made our stay absolutely delightful. Their hospitality is warm and genuine, and their enthusiasm for the activities on site is contagious. They host Ceili nights, which were a highlight during my stay, full of good music and... More

The management at Rostrevor Holidays definitely went above and beyond to ensure that we had an excellent stay. Our cottage was fully equipped, quite clean, and boasted stellar views of the surrounding mountains. It's a bit of a walk into town, but there's plenty of hiking and biking trails nearby. Definitely perfect if you need to unwind/get away from the... More

The proprietors of Rostrevor Holidays are one of its standout merits: they are kind, welcoming, accommodating, knowledgeable of the surrounding area (history, culture, nature) and are always available for a little chat. Our cottage was spacious, had a fully equipped, fully stocked modern kitchen, was extremely clean, well decorated, comfortable and pleasant to be in for three weeks. The surrounding... More

Thank you so much for your lovely comments - some great tips in there as well for future guests! I love the surrounding area of Rostrevor Holidays, and especially the Yellow Water Nature Trail on site, so it always pleases me to see guests out enjoying and exploring it! Thanks again, Didi More

I stayed here with a school group and absolutely loved it. The cottages are updated and very comfortable. The surrounding landscape is gorgeous, and the management went out of their way to make sure we had a great time (even arranging to order tennis racquets, road bikes, and basketballs for us). The cottages are also very close to some exhilarating... More

Thanks for your review - love the tip about the Clough Mor Inn - definitely worth paying a visit to since it was transformed with a makeover this year. There is a great choice of pubs in Rostrevor, with lots of live music too. Thanks again, Didi More

We've stayed at the cottages a couple of times now, most recently with family visiting from Canada. The cottages are superb, fantastic fun for kids with loads to keep them happy, from a playpark, walks by the river, wildlife watching, horses, Mountainbiking, building dams in yellow water river....the list is endless. And what better way to end busy days than... More

Thank you so much for your review. I love the list of activities for the children, it's almost like the National Trust's 50 things to do before 11 3/4. Must put your suggestions up on the website! Hopefully you'll be back to stay with us again, especially to get in some mountain biking! Didi More

I had a group of 17 Mountain bikers we needed somewhere close to the trails and comfortable. 13 of the group were Catalan tourists so I wanted somewhere they would remember. They all loved the place. We were treated great by the owners giving us local info and having basic food ready for us as we would arrive late. The... More

I stayed with a group of other women in the New House, and it was a wonderful experience. The kitchen is beautiful, and the rooms are lovely. Each room has two beds and a bathroom, and with four bedrooms (plus another bathroom and shower in the mudroom), housing such a large group was never a problem. Even though the facilities... More

“Rooms have everything you would need including something called a washing machine, tumbledrier, iron and board etc :-) The kitchen has a dishwasher and all other appliances you would need. We stayed in the Ceili house which was a great size and as clean as you would want in your own place. (Also met the cleaner, who was a wee star and a lovely lady, nothing was too much trouble for her)”
