Just returned from a short weekend break in Rostrevor and I was lucky enough to stay in what has to be the best B&B that I have stayed in. Mourne Wood is a delight as is the owner Siobhan who goes the extra mile to ensure you feel at home. The Bed to say is comfy is an understatement and...

Mourne Wood really is a gem of a B&B. My room was lovely, the bed so comfy I didn't want to get out of it and the shared bathroom beautifully decorated, not just with the usual mod cons but with lovely personal touches such as Siobhan's hand made soap. Then there is the breakfast: prepare yourself for an excellent choice...

Possibly the comfiest bed I've ever slept in complete with mountain view. A breakfast that just kept on coming starting with a fresh fruit filled melon. A stone's throw into Rostrevor and easy to get to after taking the train from Dublin to Newry. Thank you for such a warm welcome Siobhan x

I had a wonderful weekend at mourne wood B&B. Siobhan was a wonderful host. She made an exceptional breakfast, and the rooms were exquisite! The scenery was stunning and I enjoyed my long walks in kilbroney forest park, only about a 10/15 minute walk away. I look forward to my next stay in the summer.
