Well, I looked at the review and they are somewhat poor overall, I would not stay here based on the reviews, a friend recommended the place and I was not sure, the photographs of issues are not very appealing. Anyway, I am about to complete a initial visit for three days and this hotel is not a 5 star hotel...

Well impressed with all the staff, very welcoming and polite, the breakfast was fantastic every moring good value for the money. The rooms were out of this world. We booked it and when we arrived the guy behind reception told we had the best rooms. Because we booked a 3 night stay. Would definitely book with them again. The hotel...

East Ayton Lodge is a few miles out of Scarborough in a quiet spot. The room we had was spacious and well equipped though a bit cold. Staff were very friendly , and the quality of food in the restaurant was good.

We booked an overnight stay via booking.com and requested 2 double connecting rooms and paid for bed and breakfast. Upon arrival we were told they didn't do connecting rooms but the rooms were adjacent to each other and we would be able to hear the girls if we were needed. We were also told that breakfast wasn't included in the...

Staff excellent , helpful and friendly , particularly Damon. Food of good quality, breakfast very good.A la carte menu good if a little expensive, bar meals better value.Only problem chips underdone for my taste. Decor of bedroom very dated and past its sell by date. Staff let down by lack of investment by owners! Would go back on an offer price.

Found this hotel on booking.com whilst looking for a bargain. I can only say that previous reviews I had read do this place complete justice. Friendly staff, beautiful building, landscape gardens, a forest nearby, a stream/brook within the grounds. A spacious restaurant and bar area. The rooms (at least the one I stated in) are spacious, comfortable with views overlooking...

This was a lovely lodge, great views and very comfortable. If you like properties that are brand new and clinical this is probably not for you but personally i loved it, it was full of character and the staff were really friendly and helpful. Will certainly stay again.

We booked to stay here as we were walking in the area. After reading the reviews we were a little dubious but decided to give it the benefit of the doubt. The room we stayed in was lovely, bathroom was dated but very clean as was the bedding. Staff were very friendly and accommodating when we asked to add a...
