Talgarth, and this hotel, is a gem! The hotel is really good value for money -- we only paid about £85 per night including a cooked breakfast. The owners Pip and Jan were so friendly, genuine and welcoming it really made all the difference. Thanks for a great stay!

Myself and 2 other friends stayed in one room. It had o x double bed and 1 x set of bunk beds and ensuite. All the beds were really comfy. The bunks beds didn't creak when turning over nor did they wobble!! Facilities in the room were fully stocked tea/coffee etc, biscuits and a nice sized can of spring water each. Despite being the center of Talgarth it was easy to sleep, no noise. Also they had stopped providing evening meals but that was not a problem as there are plenty of other places that provided meals within very close walking distance. Breakfast was included in the price and was just enough and very well cooked and presented. Will happily book to stay here again.

Visited for a night after a trip to hay on Wye. The lady at the front desk was lovely she showed us to our room . The room for two of us was very big, clean and lovely. Due to it being warm the lady had shut the blinds and open the window for the room to be cooler , fresh can of water for that special touch. Breakfast had a variety of food including full breakfast, it was lovely. The area very quiet , we visited a little pud yards away for a meal in the night. What s perfect night away.
Thank you

Staff are very friendly and helpful. The room was very spacious and clean. Hotel is located in the centre of the town with a selection of local shops near by.
Breakfast was included in our stay, which we chose the full English breakfast and we wasn't disappointed 👌

We stayed at the tower for a long weekend we were made very welcome by Jan and showed to our room. Which was very spacious and comfortable. We had Pips marvelous cooked breakfast served in our room due to covid rules and we also had a good selection of fruit and cereals available. The bed was super comfortable which gave us a great nights sleep every night. Thank you so much Jan and Pip we had a great time.

We’ve just returned from a four night stay at the Tower Hotel in Talgarth. Room was spotlessly clean, bed super comfortable and lots of biscuits, water etc in the rooms.
If I’m honest I was a bit concerned about staying in a B&B at this time (Covid) but felt super comfortable that It was being handled well and that good practice was in place regarding hygiene/ social distance.
We had our own room for breakfast which was incredible! Jan and Pip are brilliant hosts, really helpful and accommodating. They just put you at ease. I had vegan breakfasts every day and they were perfect.
Talgarth is one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever been and the tower is the perfect base for exploring the area.

Stayed overnight for a wedding in the area. Arriving late after usual check in time and owners went above and beyond to accommodate us. Really helpful and so kind.
Rooms very clean with comfy beds.
Breakfast was cooked and continental options and everything was beautiful and such a lovely selection.
Struggled to get a taxi around check out time and staff were again very accommodating, offering us to stay a little longer or even to personally give us a lift to collect our car.
Would highly reccomend.

A really great find! This lovely hotel has been lovingly restored by hosts Pip and Jan. Sensitive restoration of the breakfast room and stunning balustrade up to huge comfortable bedrooms. We had a huge family room with a lovely en suite and a side room with built in bunks for the tiddlers (If we had them). Great breakfast and a warm welcome, we will be back!

Room Tip: Don't mistake the rest of the hotel for the main entrance. Huge car park at the front.

Owners very gracious at us turning up at 11.30pm, having driven from London. Rooms large, bright and comfortable bed. The shower was great and everywhere spotless. We had a delicious breakfast and the hotel was overall very good value.
