Visited this Hotel to have a drink after having a meal in restaurant over the road. This place seems to have been frozen in time from the early 1990's. Dated decor, scruffy toilets and a strange feel about the place....Lots of cars in the car park coming and going but not a lot of people in the premises.....The restaurant was...

My wife and I booked into Highfield Hotel in order to have a base from which to attend my aged mother's transfer between a hospital and an intermediary care home. At moments like these one's emotions are running high, and fuses are often short. The check-in was painless and the room was clean and the facilities up to scratch. But...

On arrival at the hotel we were told breakfast FINISHED at 08.45am. We hadn't pre paid so I asked not to include breakfast. The girl on the desk said we had booked in advance so couldn't take breakfast off. Room was clean but has a stale smoke /musty smell. Breakfast was a disappointment, definitely not worth getting up early for....

I selected this hotel purely on the basis of location in the same village as my birthplace 72 years ago which I had never revisited. On a business trip I am generally pretty selective, on this occasion it was not an issue - but a well appointed and very comfortable room. They have a huge Thai restaurant - a reflection...

Stayed here on business and was very impressed. The rooms were clean and facilities more than adequate. I understand that the price for bed and breakfast was very reasonable although I did not book it. Breakfast was generous, staff attentive and location excellent. RECOMMENDED,

We have been a few times for lunch. We had the set Thia menu which is very good with lots of different dishes. They have more traditional meal for children. Service was a bit slow but you don't need to book so they obviously don't know how many will be coming. There were eight of us.

An important 2 night stay to visit family, we were welcomed by lovely staff who could not have done enough. We were able to book into the Thai restaurant. A must to try, fantastic food, The Bar restaurant also is good traditional food. Breakfast was excellent, fresh juice, tea, coffee, cereal, toast and full cooked breakfast. Everywhere is clean and...
