Simple but nice hotel, in a pleasant position close to Gien centre. Very quiet. Wifi working well also in the rooms. Continental breakfast, you can prepare a juice by yourself! Best hotel in town by far!

We stayed overnight on our drive to SpAin. Location lovely, right on the River Loire. Only downside was no lift to our room on the 3rd floor and my husband struggled. Also, we left our window open because it was very hot, when we came back from having dinner, the bed was covered in hundreds of tiny flies and they... More

Stayed here for one night. Hotel is located a short stroll from the small village. Overlooks the Loire and whilst on the main road is peaceful enough. We opted for a River view suite and wow what a room. Massive, with shower rooms, bathrooms, toilets and massive bedroom area. No aircon, but a fan kept us cool enough. Short stroll... More

An excellent, clean and comfortable hotel on the banks of the beautiful Loire river. Easy access to good restaurants just a stroll along the river! Great and varied cycling. Good choice for a cycling holiday along this wonderful river. Delicious breakfast and friendly staff!

My daughter and I stayed here in a bike trip through the Loire. They had a great place to keep the bikes and are in a fantastic location across from the river. The room was nice, clean and had a good bathroom. The breakfast was good and staff very nice and helpful. I would recommend this hotel.

This accommodation was part of our 2700kms tandem cycling holiday through France. It is a bike-friendly hotel with secure parking at the back for our bicycle. The receptionist and other staff members were friendly and professional. Our room was situated on the first floor at the front of the hotel, overlooking the Loire river. The room was spacious with a... More

Having stayed here many years ago, when it still had a restaurant, we were pleased to see it back in lists. Stayed 2 nights at the beginning of the month in a very comfortable room overlooking the Loire. We were the only guests yet a full breakfast buffet was laid out, which we thoroughly enjoyed in the very smart and... More

Just stayed for one night, as we came to Gien for one purpose only, for the Gien Porcelian. Found this hotel, after spending lot's of money at the factory. The hotel is very quite, looks over the Loire River. Our room was lovely, with two bathrooms, really a suite, all very nice. The hotel hasn't got a lift, that's why... More

We have been staying here for almost 30 years, in this lovley little town on the Loire. The hotel changed hands several year ago and - sadly -it is now just bed & breakfast - but the faded glory of past triumphs linger- and you couldn't find a better spot on this east side of the Loire valley. Rooms are... More

Great location overlooking the wide and calmly flowing Loire, just a stones throw from the picturesque bridge. The hotel was perhaps at its peak a few years ago but the room I had was spacious, quiet, well maintained and clean, slightly drab but never the less more than good enough. Breakfast was fine with a lady ensuring that everything went... More
