We stayed in the main house in bedroom 1 from the website. The room is tastefully decorated and the bed and bedding was great. I’m over six foot and had a very comfortable sleep. The ensuite bathroom is spacious with a great shower and heated towel rail. The house is close to a road but it is a small village...

We stayed at Andy Wade's B&B in Mailly and were just delighted. It was clean, quiet, and Andy is a charming host. We felt perfectly at home, and were right in the center of the vineyards and region of Champagne. We would definitely stay again.

We spend 2 nights in this charming B&B. Excellent place : nice decoration, very cosy and very clean. Spacious room well equiped with a separated (connected) small room for my daughter. Very calm surrounding. A good place for the visit of the region : Reims and Epernay are about 30 minutes' drive. Andy (the owner) takes care of his visitors...

This is an excellent B&B situated in a small village in the heart of the champagne region. Our room was clean, spacious and tastefully furnished. There was a good en-suite with extra toiletries provided, which was a nice touch. Breakfast was typically continental and of a good standard. Andy the owner was an excellent host and gave us advice on...

Our party of 3 stayed in the annex at No8 last week, wanting a base to explore the Champagne region. No8 is extremely neat and clean, obviously recently decorated and fitted out in a neutral, tasteful and comfortable style, presided over by a welcoming and attentive owner (Andy) who clearly takes great pride and attention in his work. Breakfast was...

We stayed a night at No. 8 earlier this week. Andy is a great host and takes great pride in No. 8. Our room was absolutely spotless - lovely attention to detail (thanks for thinking of the make-up remover wipes, Andy!). Our bed was really comfortable - gorgeous bed linen and we both had a great night's sleep. A lovely...

My husband and I were holidaying in France again this year and based on our experience in 2009 ensured that our schedule allowed us to stay at No 8 again. We enjoyed it so much and have to say that we were not disappointed again. Andy is the perfect host and a mine of information to get the most of...

No 8 Rue de la Liberation is a gem in terms of its location between Reims and Epernay for anyone wanting to spend a few days in Champagne region. The fact that the owner speaks English and is very helpful with any questions, is also a great advantage as we had had quite a few previous experiences in the region...

We booked 3 nights and as Andy was full he offered us the cottage (separate from the main house) it was slightly cheaper too. Can't see why as its perfect. The cottage has two separate rooms with their own keys, one double one twin with their own bathrooms.. The cottage had a kitchenette and lounge dining area (shared). You get...

It's always tricky to book a b&b, because there are no common standards; you are dependant on the host's idea of hospitality and quality. This place was a gem and we consider ourselves lucky that we found it just by browsing the web. We stayed for 2 nights in the newly renovated annex, which has 2 rooms on the first...
