Stayed for two nights with my husband and mother in law. Car park an added bonus. Rooms were comfortable and clean. Breakfasts were delicious (black pudding was amazing!) and the staff very pleasant. Will certainly be back again next year.
I stayed here for one night whilst walking the Cleveland Way (in the family room). The room was ok but furniture a bit shabby and past it's best, the bathroom definitely needed decorating and the bunk beds were quite rickety. Towels and sheets all nice...More

I can highly recommend the food in Runswick hotel we had a fabulous meal before going to Runswick bay, which has tiny narrow streets & a beautiful sandy beach for children, it's a very steep climb back up though

Although it is very close to the beach it is on the Bank top and so , a very steep road directly opposite takes you down there. The alternative,if you are walking, is to walk up to the Cliffemount Hotel, about three hundred yards away , where you will find steps down offering spectacular views over the bay!!
