The accommodation was great, very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was delicious and generous. The hosts and staff were very friendly and helpful. We stayed en-route to and from San Jose - Panama and would certainly stay again.

My family and I spent a week at Caribe town in June, and we will be back for sure! It was one of the most pleasant hotel experiences I've had (and being a hotel manager myself, I know what kind of hard work it takes). Jessica and Marc went above and beyond to make our stay magical. Our family of...

We found this hotel in Trip Advisor while planning a very quick trip to Puerto Viejo. We liked it because of the location and the fact that pets are allowed. When we got there we had a great surprise to find out just how beatiful the hotel is. Plus, the service is amazing. Marc, the owner, made sure all our...

Here you feel treated like at home and the owners will give you good tips for anything you want to do. The beach is only a 2 mins walk away and the premises are impeccable. Breakfast is great and there is a nice caribbean restaurant not far away. Puerto Viejo is 5 mins in taxi or you can rent a...

Recently my family and I had the pleasure of staying in the family suite at Caribe Town! There were NO negatives about our stay. First, Jessica and Marc are amazing hosts who are knowledgable, friendly, kind, and thoughtful! On our last day we had to leave quite early in the morning (530 am) to drive to San Jose to catch...

My husband and I stayed three nights in a cozy bungalow with a tin roof that took me back in time when it rained! We had everything we needed and Jessica, our hostess, was as attentive and hospitable as any we have had. Her homemade bread and pineapple jam were superb and the Coconut French toast was unforgettable! While the...

Marc and Jessica really care about their guests! We were only there for one night, but they really took the time to make us feel welcome. This is the perfect place if you are looking for a low key, private, rustic experience. This is not a full-scale resort, but if you are looking for a place to relax near the...

My girlfriend and I chose Caribe Town for our stay in Puerto Viejo. Marc and Jessica were amazing hosts. The atmosphere is relaxed and quiet at Caribe Town, and the staff is very small, but at no time was anyone unwilling to help us, answer a question, tend the bar, or even cut a fresh, young coconut down for my...

There are not enough stars to review Caribe Town. Our trip to Costa Rica would have been nothing without Caribe town and Jessica. We literally showed up with no bookings or plans other than the hotel; she made excellent recommendations for activities that yielded great times and wonderful memories. We had a party of 8 and she kept us sheltered,...

My stay at Caribe Town Resort was like no other :) I highly reccomend, it's definitely a must stay!! Beautiful private accomadation in the middle of a luscious Costa Rican jungle, but also just 150 meters from the ocean, absolutely stunning!! This was a long over due trip that was planned fairly last minute & Thanks to Jessica,Mark & Louie...
