This is he best tourist destination in Malaysia. Remote. Wild. Exotic. Accommodation is basic but fine. The night and day safaris are awesome. The staff are friendly and very knowledgeable. If you want a adventure recommend you give this a go. Bring your own snacks and medical kit as it is remote. Expect home cooked food.

We stayed at Tabin Wildlife Reserve for 2 nights, after staying previously at Sepilok, Abai Jungle Lodge and Kinabatangan River Lodge. As we pulled up to the property after a 2 hour drive from Kinabatangan River Lodge, the last part of the journey is quite hard going as the road surface is not tarmac, i felt slightly disappointed. But after...

This lodge is outstanding for the diversity of wildlife. The night drives are amazing, the gibbons are so exciting to watch, the otters in the river, the amazing birds, the orangutans high up in the trees -- really quite amazing. There is a lot to be seen at Tabin, and we had Maldin as our guide. He showed us a...

We had a couple of really fantastic days at this lovely lodge. It was much quieter than all of the other five lodges that we stayed at in Sabah, but what it lacked in customers it made up for in the quality of wildlife seen. Our guide Jessica was brilliant, her wildlife knowledge, especially her bird knowledge was exceptional. Jessica...

We visited Tabin WR as a part of a long birdwatching trip to Sabah. From an enthusiastic naturalist's point of view it is an ideal place with everything that we could hope for. The accommodation is very good and comfortable with nice clean rooms and efficient bathrooms. Food in the restaurant was both wholesome and plentiful and all of the...

We visited Tabin resort last week in the dry season. We had just come from Danun Valley. This place is a resort and there are plenty or waiters to serve you drinks and answer any questions. After coming from primary rainforest it is very very different to be in secondary forest. This is not an authentic rainforest experience but is...

We stayed at Tabin for two nights in May 2015. It is a beautiful location with the option of river side or hill side rooms. We did enjoy our stay here and everything about Tabin is OK but not great. The rooms are tired and in need of some TLC. The staff are pleasant and some went out of their...

Me and my brother loved our time at this resort. It is extremely well run, comfortable and most of all respectful to the forest and its surroundings. We went on a night drive, to a mud volcano and a waterfall. We had a fantastic guide called Racheal and she made our wildlife experience so much more fun. Definitely a place...

We had the most amazing time here, a true highlight of our 3 weeks in Malaysia. In the middle of the jungle surrounded by a thousand things that want to drink your blood, but it doesn't matter, cause the lodges, main plaza are beautiful and clean. Because of the limited number of lodges, the friendly staff and guides, you start...

this resort gives you access to the a small part of the Tabin wildlife reserve. It's overpriced for what it offers. Accommodation is clean and well kept, the food is acceptable and the service mediocre. Activities can be arranged which include trekking, night safaris etc. It's poor value for money offered at this resort.
