Very clean room and everywhere else. Friendly staff and a really good value for money. Good laundry service and every morning a little “present” at the room door (a fruit juice and a cake), nice gesture:-)

Like the majority of travellers to Lahad datu, I stayed one night before heading on. Really happy I ended up in House 11. Found the place really lived up to the reviews. The room was spotless with a nice shower. There is a great balcony on which to relax in the evening. The staff are lovely. Always keen to help and very smiley. They really make you feel comfortable and look after you. Location-wise, there are restaurants nearby and the centre of town is only a short walk away. They arranged for transport to the airport, as well as a taxi to take me onto my next destination. Was great for peace of mind knowing they could help out. Overall, I highly recommend House 11.

Like more travellers, we stayed here one night to break up the journey from Sukau to Semporna (or for other travelling to Danum valley). Looking back at our stay, I would not go for another option in the area. - for the price paid, the place was extremely modern. In fact, construction works for even newer rooms were going on when we stayed there (no noise issues). Rooms were clean and modern with ac and perfect bed. - location wise it's fine; from banks to supermarkets, all is in walking distance. One note here though; the place is located in a block just outside the centre/busy street. If I were to be a female travelling alone, I am not sure I would walk the way from the main street to the place by night. I am not saying that it felt unsafe, but I just would not recommend it. - fair price - check in was efficient - when we had struggles to find a Grab to take us to Semporna, it was fine to wait in the main general area for the taxi to arrive Adding it all up, if we had to stay in Lahad Datu again, we would definitively go for this place!

Highly recommended! Clean and air-conditioned room. We stayed there for several days. Daily housekeeping was also provided which was nice! Situated at a housing area where there is a bank, personal care store (Watsons), few restaurants (KFC, dessert place, etc) just walking across the street so guests do not have to worry about food availability. Facilities such as water dispenser, ironing, kitchenette (if you are lazy to dine out and wanted to cook) are available inside House11. Safety-wise, they have a in-house guard to patrol. Staffs are kind and friendly to assist too!

If, like us, you have no choice but to stay 1 night in Lahad Datu then definitely stay here! Lahad Datu is pretty grim and bleak but this place offers a nice reprieve with cheap and comfortable private rooms. We pretty much just stayed inside until our early morning transfer out! Free water refills also a nice touch

Clean rooms with a/c. Good for a night before heading to Danum. WiFi works well. Not many tourists seem to come to the town as most head directly to Danum from the airport, so be prepared to feel like a movie star if you are a Westener :)

Lahad Datu has limited accomodation options. This isn't quite a backpacker hostel as I didn't see any other backpackers except for two that I had met on another trip and booked this place on their recommendation. It doesn't have that backpacker vibe. However it ticks the boxes for cleanliness, friendly and helpful staff. The rooms are all serviceable and everything works. A slight smell did come from the toilet so keep the door closed. It's close to the main road for supplies before heading off on an adventure. Lahad Datu is limited in its accomodation options. If this were somewhere else I'd be err'ing towards average. I think what me over the line is all three of us including my two friends were dropped off to the laundromat after we inquired at the office. Someone that was standing in the office said " yep I'll take you " Very nice helpful and was not expected. Thanks for the stay. Oh and thanks for the hanging bag of orange juice and little sponge cakes on the front door in the morning. Like a mini breakfast, which was a nice touch. Cheers again team house 11.

We stayed 1 night at House 11 and it turned out to be much nicer than expected (given the price we paid): clean, airy, staff was very nice and the location was surprisingly good. Excellent value for money. We got a room with a window (only the rooms at the ends of the house have windows), and right next to a cosy balcony on the street side. We spent a lovely afternoon there, watching the local life happen. There is in-house laundry service for 6 MR per kg. Two minutes away, there is a shopping mall where you can find good food and coffee. About 900m (15 minutes walk) from the minibus station. Small negative point: Wifi in the common areas is very good, but did not consistently reach our room.

I stay here for 3d2n, this is like bnb/motel/homestay. The room as i stayed has two single bed, complete with a flat screen tv with local and some astro channel, aircond, make up desk. They have pantry which u can use for cook, yes seriously. Coffee, milo 3in1 or instant noodle can be purchase there. The staff is very friendly and very helpful. The best thing is, the internet, the speed is incredible, can streaming without buffering. This house 11 located very near town but to find it, a little bit difficult. Overall, this is recommended to stay and suitable for travel checkin or wedding purpose.
