Fajar Hotel (corner of a 3-storey shophouse building) is ideally located close to shops, laundrette, mini markets, eateries and CIMB Bank. We stayed two nights. The twin room came with attached bathroom, towels, basic toiletries, TV, free WIFI (though connection was sometimes iffy), coffee making facilities (water dispenser located at each floor). Generally, the room was clean and the stay comfy. Breakfast (limited menu of roti canai/fried noodles/rice with curry and egg) was provided at Restoran Fajar Mubarak at the ground floor. The hotel was a stone's throw away from Danum Valley Field Centre Lahad Datu office, which is within walking distance (less than 300 metres or 5 minutes' walk).
