Stayed in this hotel in August 2020. Booked for standard room. Room - Don't expect a 5 star Hotel but it is the best by its standard actually in Lahad Datu. There is small fridge for you to keep your drinks cold. :) Good location as it is in the town center and near to shopping area. They provide free parking. Cleanliness - So so. Cons, 1. My bed sheet not that good. please refer photo attached.

very bad hotel.my husband booked for two night throu booking.com.we came with 3 kids.when we arrived we r given to smoking room and very bad smell and the aircond not cool.when we request change room .they have so many reason not to change room..we have to fight ..and talk to supervisor trou telephone.after a long consvertion with the reception and last deal only can able to change room.what a waste time...and so suprise the hotel room rate more cheaper than online booking..when we ask for upgrade using hotel rate they say not and have to pay more follow the online booking...we cannot cancel booking becouse already charge to our credit card.very very bad experianc.even they 10percent service charge . but service is suck.never came this hotel again..

This hotel is located in the heart of Lahad Datu town. I normally walk from airport to this hotel. The distance is less than 2km. There are few restaurants nearby. Anyway buffet breakfast is provided.

Close to the airport, local eateries and supermarket. I expect it to be as good as most of the others. The room is fine but it's a pretty old hotel, the wifi in the rooms is weak but is good in the lobby or at breakfast. Breakfast is simple but fine. 1 fruit, bread a kaya, eggs, rice porridge and either fried rice or noodles. There are a lot of beggars around and sadly there is loads of plastic rubbish and rats wondering the drains. Not a place to explore comfortably as a tourist that stands out.

This hotel was okay for our one-night stay. The rooms are a little small and the pillows in our non-smoking room had obviously been used in a smoking room previously but it wasn't a huge issue. The room was clean but a bit tired.

Stayed here 1 night while en route to Danum Valley. Room was clean and in order, bed was a bit on the smaller side, and everything in general a bit tired / dilapidated. Breakfast is served in adjacent cafe (included in room rate) and is adequate with noodles, eggs, toast, several potato dishes, juice etc. Staff is kind and efficient. In summary a good option for a short stay.

We stayed 2 nights in this hotel, on our way to Danum Valley. The rooms are spacious and clean. We stayed in a kingsize bedroom. OK-bathroom with hot water. It's a bit noisy because of the outside traffic, but that was not really a problem for us. The complimentary breakfast in the Planters Cafe on the ground floor is good: fresh fruit, continental and Malaysian buffet. Would stay here again.

Room Tip: The WIfi on the ground floor works well, it didn't reach to our room on the 4th floor.

If you're travelling alone and the Hotel is only for you to rest at night ,then this Hotel is just ok. However , be aware that this Hotel is just next to the main road. A lot of vehicle passing by at night and if you're sensitive by the noise , you may want to think twice. Public Bank is just across the road and ample of restaurant around. And is also 5 minutes drive to Lahad Datu airport.

5 minutes to the airport by taxi. Many restaurants nearby but very noisy. We can hear people talking below the street ( i was at 4th floor). Hotel restaurant only open till afternoon. Be careful with your belonging when walking around outside hotel.
