My room (superior king room) was big and clean, but smelled a bit weird, it might be the smell of the sanitiser. The building from inside is newly renovated (renovation is still in progress), the lobby looks very nice, the staff is nice and friendly, but they have no restaurant, no small bar, no lounge, nothing. And the most disappointing thing: I could smell in my room that someone(s) smoke in the corridor or somewhere close! It was crazy disgusting! Smoking is not allowed in the building, but unfortunately they cannot detect it, since there is no smoke detector, which is dangerous.

Lovely Planet rates this as the 'most luxurious hotel in Lahad Datu'. The bed is comfortable, but the bathroom has a bad sewage smell and the room overall was poorly service. Our sheet had holes in it, and the pillows were old and needed to be replaced. I booked online through bookings.com and had booked to have breakfast included, only to arrive and the restaurant downstairs was closed. The price is good, and the hotel is okay, but nothing to rave about.

Nice view facing the sea. This hotel is quite new, clean and spacious. Air-con in our room is quite cold, enjoy a good night sleep. Walking distance to shops and eateries. Serve nice and simple breakfast before we check out.

I have call the 0 operator to mention the problem, still after 2 hours the tv don't have any signal, there's no rain no cloudy weather but there's no signal. Feel like living in the cave. Probably the management didn't pay astro bill, but the answer our technician still check the problem. What a typical liar answer.

This is a nice hotel, clean and well maintained. Good for business stay in this town. Within short walking distance from the hotel is the mall, restaurants and convenient shops. During my stay, i think because of low season, the hotel offers ala carte breakfast - but, the nasi lemak is great. The down side is the wifi, which is terribly slow.

Agreed with KJLKL "Below Average" review on 24 April 2016 as I personally stayed there recently after missing the boat twice due to fully booked (2014) and renovation (2015). The room quite gloomy and old plus there is a toilet smell outside the room. The buffet breakfast is quite simple when comparing to another new hotel having the same price. Also, I don`t see any improvement after the so call renovation mentioned by the P.R. Manager in 25 April 2016.
