Location wise: 5 minutes from Lahad Datu airport. Located in the centre of the old town centre. Connected to the Lahad Datu Centre Point, or locally known Milimewa Store. No Chinese restaurant available but many Muslim restaurants around. There is one shopping mall named Darvey Bay (6 minutes walk from hotel). Inside the mall, you can find a bakery chain Multibake and a fast food chain Sugarbun. Shops at this old town centre close at 6PM. By 7PM, hardly any local walking around. The town is in total quiet except birds. According to the taxi driver, locals seldom stay here but choose Downtown, a new township and also 5 minutes from airport. Hotel wise: Like previous comment, the reception counter is located at the basement. You have to carry your bags walking down the stairs to the basement. After check in, carry them back up here and take the lift to your room. No breakfast included for a room costing RM118 per night. expensive. Room is huge and spacious but with very basic facilities. No hair dryer, no indoor slippers, no iron & ironing board.

Price is at average and seems like all facilities are the same as the price - Average! I was staying at 2nd floor and the distance from elevator to my room was quite a distance, strongly recommend you guys to ask for a nearer room from the elevator is you plan to go out at night for some heavy drinking. Overall, staff attitude was ok although clearly shown that they have no front-desk experience. Since i drove there, the ONLY reason I choose this hotel is because it's car park is safer the others.

Stayed for a night after attending a function. Formerly known as Grace Hotel, it is good enough for a short stay in this small town which is busy by day but quite bg night. Situated in the busy area where banks, restaurants and shopping complexes are easily accessible. It occupies the first and second floors of the Lahad Datu Centre Point shopping complex with s local supermarket chain and shops on the ground floor. The reception counter is at the basement which is quite strange. Room charge does not include breakfast. However there some good coffee shops nearby serving local dishes. Rooms are large but facilities are basic. The rooms are not soundproofed with noises from birds resting outside the windows at night and vehicles below. TV channels are few but free wifi is available.
