Perfect! Excellent atmosphere. The food is excellent and the team very pleasant. Very good situation near the airport. Shuttle on demand. The garden is quiet and you can observe birds coming visit the flowers. Small shop for food and spicy souvenirs.

My wife and I and two of our friends had been on a two weeks long trip of birdwatching and nature watching in Sabah and needed a relaxing place to stay for a day before departing Malaysia. Bike and Tours perfectly fit our needs. The local couple and their staff who run this completely charming little place were warm, welcoming and helpful and very concerned about the welfare of their guests. This was the the cleanest, neatest and most well run place that we stayed in in our two weeks in Sabah. Our room, the garden suite, featured two full sized beds, ensuite bathroom and access to the lovely and beautiful garden and pool. It was light and airy and well air conditioned. When we arrived we were greeted with a delicious homemade beverage made from locally grown ingredients including blue pea flowers plus lime juice and it was indeed blue and beautiful as well! Our dinner was a delicious and artistic marvel, a beautiful adaptation of traditional Malay fare, as was our breakfast the next morning. To summarize, our stay was utterly delightful.

We had an amazing stay with heavenly food. After days in the jungle we needed time off and some pampering. Homemade ice cream by the pool was perfect for kids and delicious coffee at any time was exactly what we needed. The atmosphere is relaxed, warm and friendly. Highly recommended.

Brilliant homestay experience, run very smoothly by a couple and their local staff. Food is delicious and obviously cooked with love. We were really impressed with how special the dishes were - made using local ingredients and based on local recipes. Rooms are clean and spacious, with AC and towels. The hospitality provided is second to none and I would highly recommend staying here.

After months of isolations due to the MCO we decided to take a trip to Sabah with a stop in Lahad before moving to Danum Valley. Ithisa Simon and the 2 little girls are simply amazing. We were welcomed like their family members. We travelled with our 1 year old son and tons of toys were ready for him. ithisa is a super chef who cooked for us a delicious Laxas Johor served in a romantic set in the private garden. The room is nice, clean and very comfortable. Definitively a place to stop before moving to the Valley

We stayed pre and post Tabin Reserve trip. We received a warm welcome by Itisha and her family. We chilled in their lovely garden and had a refreshing dip in pool...and yes, we also had an amazing dinner. So many different flavors, sooo tasty and filling. It was a real treat. On the second night Itisha cooked another lovely meal which we shared with the family and fellow travellers. It was so lovely to enjoy Malay hospitality and chat with the family over a glass of drink. Simon served up a breakfast feast which was really tasty and fueled us up for the day ahead. He also dropped us off at the airport. We slept well on both nights. We try to refrain from using wi-fi much when we travel but on this occasion we needed to change our travel arrangements at short notice and it was really helpful to have access to fast wi-fi. We were shown a great hospitality during a very worrying and uncertain time.

Visited this B and B for one night to have a break whilst travelling between the Kinabatangan and Rain Forest. So glad we did! There is a lovely feeling of calm to Simon and Tisha’s home, we were tired and spent the afternoon around their little pool. The room was spotless and the bed very comfortable. The absolute highlight of our stay was the authentic Malay meal cooked for us by Tisha. It was by far the best dinner we had during our three weeks in Malaysia. Fresh yellow fin tuna from the market that morning, soya curd which had been marinated and cooked for hours, curried squash, green mango salad, pineapple in coconut all lovingly served on a large banana leaf and explained to us by Tisha. Dessert was tapioca, salted caramel and palm sugar with vanilla ice cream, all quite delicious. We were lucky enough to have our dinner around their pool which was all lit by candlelight, it was a wonderful and memorable evening, thank you. Breakfast was substantial and freshly cooked, Simon and Tisha are wonderful hosts and it was a privilege to stay in their home with their delightful young family, I can highly recommend this B and B.

Me and a friend wanted to book active holidays around Sabah and we found a ton of travel agencies offering packages to do so. What Tisha and Simon from "Bike and tours" offer is not just "another holiday package"! They tailored each detail to meet our wishes, treating us like family! They work with local guides, promote eco-tourism and have the most welcoming and comfortable bed and breakfast in Lahad Datu! Flavoured fresh water and homemade cookies by the pool? Amazing homemade dinner and breakfast with flowers and fruits from the garden? Welcoming smiles and goodbyes each time we come and go? They have it all for you! The accommodation is very very clean and quiet. They have a very nice cat, which only stays outside or in the common areas. We got a room with a direct door to the swimming pool and 2 huge beds! The laundry service was also spotless. We were sad we didnt stay there more time!
